Principal's Thoughts
Dear Page Hilltop Families:
WELCOME BACK! We hope you all had an enjoyable and relaxing spring vacation break. I will be waiting Monday morning to see all of our students' smiling faces, to listen to their vacation stories, and (hopefully) not to see anyone coming in with crutches!
On April 18th over 30,000 runners, from around the world, took part in the Boston Marathon. It was an exciting event with many amazing personal stories to be told. It was incredible to think that, after running 26 long miles, these athletes still needed to make it another 385 yards to complete their run.
As we return to school on April 25th, our students and staff are faced with a similar challenge. Our "385 yards" is the next 8 weeks of school. We have endured a long and challenging 8 months of school. Now we need to bring it home! We need to gather our energy, motivation & perseverance to finish the school year in a positive & successful way!
All of the marathon runners were "Boston Strong". We are all "Page Hilltop Strong"
Thanks, as always, for sharing your children with us!
Fred Deppe, Principal
Matt Lutinski, Assistant Principal

Helpful Hints for a successful MCAS testing experience:
- Children are encouraged to try their best at all times. Children should keep in mind that MCAS testing has nothing to do with their report card grades or with promotion to the next grade.
- Parents should keep students on a typical schedule during MCAS times.
- Students should be getting lots of good sleep during MCAS times.
- Students should eat a good breakfast on testing days.
- Students MUST be on time for all MCAS test days. Students arriving late for school are not allowed to enter the classroom after the test has begun at 9:00 am.
