As most of you know, OAC is now on a balanced calendar. At the core of this calendar is more consistency for our students and we will be in school year round with periodic breaks of no longer than 10 school days.

There is no longer a seperate summer school program, it has been integrated into our balanced calendar. All students are expected to attend throughout the summer months, as these school days are part their regularly scheduled school program.

2023-2024 school hours begin July 17, 2023

Full Day – 8:37am-3:03pm

½ Day – 8:37am-11:50am

Early Dismissal – 8:37am-1:35pm

• Morning student drop off begins at 8:27am
• Full Day Dismissal pick up begins at 2:53pm
• 1/2 Day Dismissal Pick Up begins at 11:40am
• Early Dismissal Pick up begins at 1:25pm

Mark your calendar to attend our 23-24 OAC Open House. All classrooms teachers and staff, service providers and many community organizations will be available during our open house. We look forward to welcoming our students and families for our Open House.

This is your one stop location for parents/guardians to go for community supports and resources. Please check out this resource at Social Work/OCSN Resource Warehouse. Bookmark this resource on your computer and refer back often. It will be continually updated with fresh and new information.

Starting in July a CMH Staff person will be at OAC on the 4th Wednesday afternoon of each month, between 12:30-3:30pm. This is an opportunity for families to connect with CMH as needed to make connections and answer any questions you may have about the services they offer. Please email Brenda if you would like to schedule a specific time for your family to meet with the CMH staff when they are here. bseymour@oaisd.org

July 28 will be an early dismissal. Please plan for your child to arrive home 1.5 hours early. Student pickup time is 1:25pm. Be sure to mark your calendar to make sure someone will be home when the bus arrives.
