One of the perks for working within the State of Delaware is the supplemental benefits. Supplement benefits are extra or additional insurance offered to employees. This workshop is designed to review Flexible Spending Account, Securian Life Insurance, Health Advocate and Livogo. Most of these additional plans are FREE!

Available to benefit-eligible employees, their spouses, dependent children who are currently enrolled in a State of Delaware Group Health Plan as well as parents and parent-in-law. This is a FREE service.

View Flexible Spending Account Video
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) allow employees to set aside money from paychecks pretax to pay for out of pocket health care expenses or for dependent child/adult daycare expenses while employees are working.
Livongo - Diabetes Monitoring Program
Livongo is a free diabetes monitoring program. It provides access to Certified Diabetes Educators to help with diabetes management. Diabetes Response Specialists are available 24/7 if there is an issue, as well as a meter and test strips. FREE!
Life Insurance - Colonial Employees have TWO OPTIONS
Take note, Colonial School District employees have two options as it relates to life insurance.
- Colonial School District offers life insurance through Prudential.
- The State of Delaware offers life insurance through Securian.
