Upcoming events
Compass Canoe Trip
Compass students will have the opportunity to experience a day of canoeing and hiking on, and around, the St. Croix River. No experience is necessary. We’ll get dropped off at Taylors Falls to hike the Pot Hole Trail on our way to the canoe launching site. There will be two people to a canoe; with each person receiving a paddle and a life jacket.
We’ll stop at an island along the way to eat a bag lunch that will be provided through student lunch accounts. We will canoe approximately 5 miles to Osceola where we will dock the canoes.
On the way home, we will stop at the Franconia Sculpture Garden in Schafer.
Date: Thursday, October 5th.
From: 8:00AM – 4:00 PM. Please note that this is an extended day field trip and students will need to get a ride home from a parent or guardian.
Cost: $20 If this presents a hardship for your family, please contact Erica Dahlin 763-506-3238. We do not want the cost to be the reason a student does not join us for the trip.
Please complete the permission slip here.
