Weekly Update 11/05/23
Greetings Families,
The season of Thankfulness is upon us! We all have so much to be thankful for! I am thankful for all of our families that returned this year amidst all of the merging with TBP! I am also thankful for all of our new families that have decided to embark on this journey with us.
I am also thankful for our Veterans! Veterans Day is next Saturday and we want to honor any veterans that we have in our school community. Students brought home a pennant to decorate in honor of any family member that has served in our Armed Forces. Please be sure to return these to school this week. We want to make sure they are displayed in our main hallway in time for our Thanksgiving Family Lunch!
Speaking of: many of you have been asking when you will get to eat with your kids...well the wait is over! Many of you have had questions about this and hopefully I can answer them here:
- Lunch will be on November 16--we will send out our modified lunch schedule next week
- You must purchase your plate (up to 4) on MySchoolBucks
- If you try to come and aren't on the list we will have to turn you away as the cafeteria workers will be preparing enough food based on the list from MySchoolBucks
- If you have multiple kids you will come when the youngest is scheduled to eat and then wait in our "waiting room" until your next child's lunch time
- Students who do not have someone coming to eat with them will get to eat in the classroom with their teacher
Thank you for your understanding and patience with this exciting and new opportunity to eat with your child. We have limited space in our Cafenasium to house everyone at once!

Parking Lot Reminders
This is a reminder that once you enter a lane at drop-off to please stay in it and not try to cross to the other one. This can mess up our numbers when we type them in for the kids to come down and line up. We also close certain lanes at certain times of the day, so please don't weave in and out of cones. Thank you so much!!
Lunch Charges
Some parents have had questions as to why they are seeing information that they owe money to the cafeteria. This is due to some students going back for seconds. All students receive a free breakfast and lunch, but if they go back for seconds they will be charged. Please talk to your kids about this if this involves your child.
