SAT Prep
SAT / PSAT Prep
During Bruin Time on Tuesdays and Thursdays we will be doing some SAT / PSAT prep with our Freshmen through Junior students. Using data from this falls PSAT , we identified some Juniors who will receive extra assistance during Bruin Time to help them hit the College Board Bench Mark Score of 530 Math and 480 English.
We are also doing test prep using KHAN Academy in our English and Math classes that go along with the state standards. We are doing this due to the fact that the SAT is a graduation pathway test for all students. If a student reaches the College Board Benchmark Score, they have proven that they are college / career ready and fulfills one of the state's graduation requirements. We believe by providing students with instruction in Math and English PSAT and SAT skills, it will help them succeed on the exam and open more opportunities for them in their future.
