Alex Cordone -Senior, Varsity Basketball

Last week, Alex scored 17 points in a loss at Marine City. Previous to that game, Alex poured in 33 points, including 3 clutch free throws to send the game to overtime against Lamphere. He followed that performance with a 20-point performance in a win against Hazel Park.

Katie Kage - Junior, Varsity Basketball

Katie has been an integral part to the success of the girls basketball team this season. In a 51-16 win over Warren Mott on Friday night, Katie played big minutes and executed on the offensive side of the ball each possession. Her ability to adapt to game situations is impressive, and she plays her role well. She lined up defensively across from Mott’s best ball handler and kept her in check all night.

Make sure you have a current physical on file and you create a planeths account (details below)! Winter Sports offered at CMS include:

• Track and Field- open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders

• Softball - open to 7th and 8th graders only

• Baseball - open to 7th and 8th graders only

All student-athletes in High School and Middle School must have the following in order to participate in athletics at CHS and CMS:

4. Pay to Participate
