Welcome September
In September
This windy, bright September afternoon
My heart is wide awake, yet full of dreams.
The air, alive with hushed confusion, teems
With scent of grain-fields, and a mystic rune,
Foreboding of the fall of Summer soon,
Keeps swelling and subsiding, till there seems
O'er all the world of valleys, hills, and streams,
Only the wind's inexplicable tune.
My heart is full of dreams, yet wide awake.
I lie and watch the topmost tossing boughs
Of tall elms, pale against the vaulted blue;
But even now some yellowing branches shake,
Some hue of death the living green endows: —
If beauty flies, fain would I vanish too.

Morning Glory
The Morning Glory flower symbolizes spiritual awakening, enlightenment, and rebirth. Its trumpet shaped blooms resemble a trumpet that is used to wake up people from their slumber. This flower reminds us to awaken to our higher selves and to connect with the divine.
Dragonfly
The dragonfly is a spirit animal that symbolizes change, transformation, and self-realization. It represents the ability to learn and adapt in life, and to break free of old paradigms and limitations. It also signifies the balance of fire and water energy, or masculine and feminine, in your daily and spiritual life. The dragonfly is a messenger from the realms of spirits, fairies, and magical beings, and a reminder that the world is full of possibilities.
Family
“The morning had dawned clear and cold, with a crispness the hinted at the end of summer.”
~George R.R. Martin
For many in the Northern Hemisphere, the coming weeks will bring shorter days and cooler temperatures. As the leaves begin to shift from their summer green to the rich hues of autumn, September ushers in a season filled with symbolism and opportunity. This transition from summer to fall is not just a change in the weather; for many, it signifies a time to harvest the goals and intentions planted at the beginning of the year. Metaphorically, this month allows us to reflect on how those aspirations have grown and evolved. It is a chance to assess what has flourished and what no longer serves us, determining what we need to let go of and allow to wither.
But September is not merely a time for reflection; it is a time of renewal and change. The back-to-school season revitalizes the academic environment, offering students a fresh start and a chance to reinvent themselves. In the professional realm, the reinvigoration of routines and responsibilities can spark creativity and ambition, driving renewed effort toward career aspirations.
And of course, Labor Day, that well-deserved break in the early days of September, stands as a celebration of hard work and perseverance. It is more than just a holiday; it is a moment to pause, appreciate our labor, and recharge our batteries. As we enjoy the last remnants of summer, we also prepare ourselves for the coming months, setting the stage for growth, achievement, and fulfillment in all aspects of our lives. Whether you are an eager student, a determined professional, or someone looking to reshape your life's path, September holds a special significance that encourages us to embrace change, pursue our dreams, and cultivate a life rich with purpose and passion.
What a month August has been! Relaxed and hectic. Lots of rain, some with heavy thunder and lightning and some just simply relaxing. It also came with lots of fun and lots of work and a bit of sadness. Happily, thankfully, amazingly, work is fun. School started back for our son who at first had the anxiety of being the new kid at a new school to the day before being excited at being the new kid at a new school. It was exciting to watch as he put on his new school clothes sporting his fresh haircut and yes shaving…the ever so light mustache he may have. We experienced a car malfunction while on the interstate. We were able to get the car home and eventually into the shop to be told the engine was blown. That took us to having to make decisions as to what we wanted to do. We eventually gave in and purchased a new car (yes, I love a new car but sitting around a car dealership negotiating what should never have to be negotiated makes my anxiety a little bit higher). Patrick returned to work August first after a month off. He drives about 45 minutes each way but does not mind. He says the beauty of the mountains makes the drive bearable. He had an aunt pass during the month. He sat talking one evening and said, “this was my last aunt, it seems weird.” He has always been close to his family and yes it does seem weird when the torch is passed. My Mom and Dad paid us a surprise visit the last weekend of August. Patrick and Dad walked around the mountain and Mom and I sat and talked for a while. We had a great lunch and was able to reminisce and talk about family and good times. Mom is doing well but her anxiety and the need to leave as soon as she arrives somewhere outside of her perimeter is starting to get a bit worse. Each day I have with her having some memory of who we all are is a gift from Spirit and I am thankful.
Well, that is about it. Hope you have a wonderful September. You are such great company, my friends. And bless all the teachers, who have a special place in heaven. Bless you.
With love,
Love,
Ed
Did You Know
Did you know September 4th-the first Monday of the month is Labor Day. Canadians also observe Labor Day.
Sept 11 is Patriot Day, held in honor and remembrance of those who died in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Sept 11 is Grandparents Day this year. It is a day to honor your grandparents not only today but every day.
Sept 15 starts Rosh Hashanah, a Jewish holiday that marks the beginning of the new year.
Sept 17 is Constitution Day. This day celebrates the adoption of the U.S. Constitution, which occurred on September 17, 1787.
Sept 21 is recognized as the annual International Day of Peace. Observances range from a moment of silence at noon to events such as peace walks, concerts, and volunteering in the community.
Sept 23 marks the state of fall. This year’s Autumnal Equinox occurs at 2:59AM EDT on Saturday, September 23. On this date, there are approximately equal hours of daylight and darkness.
Sept 24 marks the start of Yom Kippur, at sundown.
Sept 26 is Johnny Appleseed Day, celebrating John Chapman and everything apple!
Sept 29 is Michaelmas. Michaelmas is an ancient Celtic “Quarter Day” which marked the end of the harvesting season and was steeped n in folklore.
Here are some more dates for fun: September 11th is National hug Your hound day; September 13 is Kids take over the kitchen day; September is international talk like a pirate day; September 24 is National punctuation Day.
September’s zodiac signs are Virgo and Libra. Virgo is the most modest of all the Zodiac signs. Symbolized by a Virgin, Virgos are nurturing, calming, controlling, and rule-oriented—focused on order versus chaos. Everyone sees Virgos as calm and composed. Libras are intelligent, kind, and always willing to put others before themselves, Libras value harmony in all forms. Libra adores flirting, loves the drama and pageantry of romance, and is one of the few signs of the Zodiac that enjoys first dates.
This year, look for September’s full Harvest Moon to appear just after sunset on Thursday, September 28. It then reaches peak illumination at 5:58 A.M. Eastern Time on Friday the 29th, drifting below the horizon shortly thereafter. The full Moon that happens nearest to the fall equinox (September 22 or 23) always takes on the name “Harvest Moon.” Unlike other full Moons, this full Moon rises at nearly the same time—around sunset—for several evenings in a row, giving farmers several extra evenings of moonlight and allowing them to finish their harvests before the frosts of fall arrive.
September’s birth flowers are the aster and the morning glory. The aster signifies powerful love, and the China aster expresses variety or afterthought in the language of flowers. The morning glory symbolizes affection. It can also mean coquetry, affectation, or bonds in the language of flowers.
The birthstone for the ninth month is the sapphire, which was once thought to guard against evil and poisoning.

Tarot of the Month
September is about reaping your rewards. Your pay is not a reflection of your personal worth. What seeds have you planted that you want to see sprouting?
The three cards pulled are for the 30 days. The first card being the first ten days, the second card being the next ten days, and the last card being the remaining ten days. (Faerie Tarot Published by U.S. GAMES SYSTEMS, INC. By Nathalie Hertzt.)
1st Card: The Hermit:
This elderly fairy, with his mystical expression, symbolizes meditation, humility, and knowledge. In the quiet forest, he lives in solitude and perfect harmony with nature. In search of himself and for the path of wisdom, time has become his ally. The light he holds reflects his spiritual clarity, illuminates the truth, and allows him to penetrate the secrets of the arcana. The stars surrounding his head symbolize the strength of the higher spirits and the knowledge lighting his way. The hermit avoids contact with others to live in perfect communion with his ideals. His mental power and intuition will allow him to reach his goal—the divine light. Divinatory Meanings: : Wisdom, patience, isolation, reserve, prudence, discretion, moderation. A great sensitivity, spirituality, secrecy, telepathy, and occult protection. Timidity, obstacles, regression, inertia. Mental confusion, avarice, pessimism, delay, and bad luck.
2nd Card: Three of Cups:
The fairies have a rendezvous in a verdant flower garden. A baby fairy has just hatched in a flower, symbolizing revival, love and joy. The stars emerging from the three cups offer the newborn baby good fortune and well-being. The sky is mild and blue. The butterflies represent peace and serenity. Divinatory meaning: Solved problems, satisfaction. A union, a birth, good news, serenity. Good family relations, a celebration, optimism. A plan comes to fruition. Relief after sorrow, unfulfilled plans, a delay. Excessive feasting and pleasures. It is time to get back to serious and constructive matters.
3rd Card: Queen of Swords:
This fairy queen with her soft and noble face is clothed in a rich dress of cold colors. Holding her sword high, she is the kind of woman who strives to reach her goals with courage and dignity. She meditates on the worldly experiences that have granted her wisdom and insight. With her sword she sweeps away the doubts, fears and confusion. The ermine on her arm embodies her femininity, royalty, and intelligence. It reinforces the idea that she is the queen of winter; the season which can be both harsh and soft. Divination Meanings: A single middle-aged woman, perceptive and combative, demanding, but lacking emotional ties: perhaps a widow. Intelligence, will, concentration, and clarity. Deprivations, loneliness, and a key moment for a decision. A malevolent, bitter, petty, calculating and miserly woman, with misleading appearances. Slanders, intrigues, revenges. A false smile

Feeling Unfulfilled with Your Current Situation and Thinking About Starting an Online Business... BUT Also Feeling Confused. Overwhelmed...and Don't Know Where to Start? Here is some advice….
This world and all the wacky energy have gotten wild.
Things are not as they used to be. The world is changing.
We used to be able to feel secure with our college education, corporate job, and pension...but "secure" in today's environment isn't AS secure as it used to be.
And on top of that, many of us are not finding fulfillment in our jobs.
Oh, they used to fulfill us...or at least, we could at least tolerate them. But with all this change and energy, many of us are starting to think that there must be a better way.
But is it realistic? Or are we just being dreamers with our heads in the clouds?
Societal conventions are starting to show cracks, wear, and tear.
What used to work is no longer working, so for many of us, it is time to start thinking about what we can do to feel more fulfillment in our lives and careers...and dare I say, to create a dream life!
No, this is not like Barbie and her dream house...well, maybe it is...I DO like pink and glitter. So, yes, I will say it, for me, my dream life looks a bit like Barbie's life having fun in Malibu....
What does YOUR dream life and career look like?
For many of us, starting an online-based business is a way to meet the goals that we have for both our careers and lifestyle.
Let me explain. The barriers to entry are low...which is both a good and bad thing. The GOOD about it is that it really does not take much up-front capital to create an online business that has the ability to far exceed your corporate income.
No seriously.
The BAD about it is that there is a lot of fluff out there...people who are trying to sell you "the dream” and people who are not building their businesses on a strong foundation with solid strategies and processes. Let us be honest...there is a lot of fakery.
But let’s go.... meaning GOOD...and we are going to get a bit "woo" here (Ed would approve of this sentiment!), if you are able to be honest with yourself and explore your talents, gifts, inclinations....meaning, who you really are and the gifts that you bring to this world, and then combine that with solid business strategies, there is a good chance that your online business will be a success!
Of course, there is more to it than that, but that is truly where you might want to consider starting with this. Make a quiet space for yourself and pull out a sheet of paper.
First, write down all the hobbies that you had as a child. What did you genuinely enjoy doing? Creating things? Solving puzzles? Reading books? Playing with your Barbie Dreamhouse? ;-)
Secondly, what are your innate talents? Not your learned skills (like accounting or legal stuff). Are you a great communicator, teacher, organizer, or strategist? What comes so easily to you that you assume that everyone else can also do it as easily (but they can't)?
Third, create a vision for your ideal day. What time do you wake up? How many hours per day are you working in your business? What is the nature of your business? Meaning, are you writing, creating products, recording videos, or managing a team? What does your ideal day look like for you (even if you have not yet figured out exactly what type of business you want to start)?
This is just a little something to get your brain to start to think about possibilities! I highly suggest that you take the time to complete these exercises. And remember, do not FORCE any of these answers. When you relax and allow, you might be surprised by what you write down!
We have been so conditioned as to what to believe a good life looks like.
But in reality, the good life looks exactly how YOU want it to look.
End of story.

Dear Katelyn,
How do I move through feeling stuck?
Hi!
As humans we forgot our greatest power is the power to change. If there is something you don’t like, you feel bored with, has you feeling stuck and stagnate.. change it! Small changes, big changes, any change is change. We get to decide how our life is experienced. To have free will is the whole purpose we are here.
Love and death are the pillars of great change. Loving yourself is sometimes having to feel brave enough to experience a rebirth (death). Death (rebirth) is the practice of letting go to see you still exist.
So what is next?
Show yourself how good it can get.
Katelyn.

Spiritual
Not everyone who is enlightened by an angel knows that he is enlightened by him!
~Thomas Aquinas
People have long sought to live a life of Enlightenment, which is a state of transcendent, spiritual oneness with all of Creation, harmony of heart and mind, while having unbounded life’s creativity at your core. However, at this point in mankind’s evolution it seems difficult to achieve. There are many well intentioned people who talk about it, have fascinating intellectual theories and philosophies about how to achieve it, but are not actually living Enlightenment themselves. Fortunately, there is a natural way to grow and directly experience a full state of Enlightenment through one of the most basic principles of Creation itself.
A Basic Principle of Creation is that the Greater automatically gives to the Lesser. The part which has more fullness can give and uplift parts which have less. The sun in its nature gives warmth and light to everything around it, just by being itself. Being around people who are living a loving life naturally engenders more loving feelings within you. Be open to the sources of fullness around you for whatever you want in every aspect of life. This principle also applies to Enlightenment. One who is a living embodiment of Enlightenment naturally brings greater spiritual growth to anyone who orients their attention to that person with an open heart. To understand how this principle of Creation works spiritually, let us first define what we mean by Enlightenment.
Enlightenment through Grace is a direct experience of infinite Pure Spirit as the foundation of your life.
At its core, Enlightenment means having your inner level of spirit infinitely expanded without limits. Spirit is the level of pure, silent being within you which is completely unmanifest. Think of it as the baseline of your awareness … no thoughts, feelings … just pure, silent, awareness by itself. Enlightenment is an amazing experiential level of living … you literally experience oneself as infinite, Pure Spirit, united as one with the spiritual essence of all of Creation. You directly perceive the world through every sight, sound, and touch as that same infinite, Pure Spirit which you are. You are finally at peace and at home in the most profound way possible.
Your level of unbounded Pure Spirit also then purifies your personality to express that perfection as a fulfilled and Enlightened personality. An Enlightened life in all its’ facets spontaneously unfolds as clarity of thought for successful actions, fullness of loving emotions for meaningful relationships, joyfulness, inner peace, self-confidence, optimal physical health, integration of heart and mind, and harmony on all levels.
An Enlightened person’s unbounded, transcendent level of Pure Spirit can be found everywhere, including inside you. So having the simple intention to orient your open-hearted attention on their spiritual essence will effortlessly enliven expanded spiritual fullness within yourself too.
This only works however, if the Enlightened person is living a specific level called Omnipresent Consciousness, because then that person is also the embodiment of Grace everywhere. Grace is the transformative quality of Pure Spirit, with the unique ability to touch, expand, and accelerate your growth at your deepest level of spirit. This happens completely transcendent to even the most subtle level of energy. It is not a form of refined energy. Grace is at the level of the silent blueprint of Creation before the vibrations of Creation even begin. That is why it is so transformative – it operates at the very deepest, silent, core level of your being.
Grace works in two ways: Expansion and Purification. It enlivens the level of spirit within you and expands it to be infinite Pure Spirit, unleashing the maximum of life’s creativity to fulfill your desires. At the same time, Grace dissolves all the limits and obstacles within you to becoming Enlightened – past stresses, childhood traumas, the constrictions of karma, etc. This purifies the blueprint of your life, manifesting the unfolding of your ideal life.
Even just a bit of Grace gives you the seed of Enlightenment. Over time Grace expands and purifies the silent level of Pure Spirit within you, and you will begin to experience yourself as unbounded Pure Spirit without limits. Enlightenment is essentially a change in core identity. You gain the full flow of life’s creativity from your own limitless, transcendent source. This then expands throughout all aspects of your life, fulfilling your desires, and manifesting the life you choose.
Natural growth to Enlightenment through Grace is not gained by intellectual understanding, philosophy, specific techniques, or positive attitudes. As interesting as these activities are, they are on the surface levels of life. They do not touch the pure, silent awareness of spirit. Only lively Grace from the level of unbounded spirit of an Enlightened person can directly touch and expand the level of transcendent spirit within others. It is all experiential. It is not necessary to understand it intellectually. Enlightenment is a natural state of living one’s full potential as a spiritual being. When you think about it, it does not make sense to be using techniques which require force, years of discipline, or strain to gain a completely natural state.
Let enlightenment be given to you. Once you find someone who is the embodiment of Grace, then simply orient to their spiritual fullness with an open heart and receive the light of their Grace. Like a flower in the sun, the flower is naturally nourished by innocently receiving the sun’s warming rays. Be open, fluid, innocent and patient. Accept Grace with an open heart, have an attitude of receiving, and let your transformation take place from the inside out. A higher and fuller level of life is being given to you. Once you are established in Enlightenment, the experience is of timelessness at your core, so the spiritual journey you had to go through feels as though it never happened, and that you were always infinite, expanded, and free.
You might ask how do you know if a person or master has real, transformative Grace? First off, they should be able to speak in real terms of living Enlightenment as an all-time reality, and not just a momentary flash. People in Omnipresent Consciousness, which is required to have Pure Grace, are rare at this time in human evolution. Ultimately if they are real, you will feel that orienting to them with an open heart will transform you at your very spiritual core, and you will feel expansion rising from within.
Become a lighthouse of pure grace for the world. More expanded consciousness means you are encompassing more of the essential nature of Creation itself, so you will naturally have more to give. If you grow to Omnipresent Consciousness then you too will become the embodiment of Pure Grace, which automatically spiritually uplifts others. The world needs more beacons of Pure Grace to bring about a more fulfilling, harmonious, and joyous life for everyone!

“there are divine things more beautiful than words can tell”
~Walt Whitman
Mountains have fascinated me ever since I was a little boy. These majestic creations of nature possess valuable ancient wisdom and the ability to provide a sense of tranquility nothing else can compare with. Since I love and connect with mountains so much, it made me curious about finding out the deeper spiritual meaning of mountains. The spiritual meaning of a mountain is often associated with consistency, inspiration, spiritual awakening and overcoming obstacles. Mountains symbolize progress and having the mental strength to overcome the challenges you are currently facing or have faced in the past.
Two mountain ranges evolve over time. Both arise from the same spark of creation but represent different qualities of their Creator. The taller, vaster, younger, and more rugged of the two ranges speaks to the spirit of adventure and youthful exuberance. With its tall, snow-capped peaks, jagged terrain and cold winters, this range draws in those youthful spirits who see in these mountains the metaphorical challenge to conquer their fears and achieve their hopes and dreams. Due to this range’s imposing landscapes, many of its inhabitants choose to reside along the periphery rather than within the cradle of these great and inspiring mountains. Captivated by its majestic summits, many young people migrate here to fulfill their quest for adventure and to achieve personal transformation. The smaller, homier, ancient, and less rugged of the two ranges speaks to the spirit of deep-rootedness and refined wisdom. With its lush green forests, soft rolling hills and warmth-inviting climate; this range attracts those reflective souls who find, in these densely wooded mountains, the solitude needed for meditation upon the eternal self. Due to this range’s gentler sliding slopes and ridges, many of its inhabitants live within the heart of these exquisite blue mountains. While less young people may migrate here than to the former range, those who do lay down deep and permanent roots like the rhododendrons and mountain laurels that provide the range’s humble grounding. The spirit of adventure, youthful exuberance, deep-rootedness, and refined wisdom are all core facets of our inner journey along the path to self-realization. The qualities of each of these two majestic mountain ranges, then, serve as natural contemplative reflections of our own states of being. Each also reminds us that we must always heed the call of our inner child to ascend the rarefied peaks of wisdom that comes with experience and age.
