As we enter into the months of November/December, the weather can be so unpredictable at best, so have your child dress appropriately. Please ensure your child has a warm coat, hat, and gloves as they leave in the morning. I would like to remind parents to please label their child’s clothes and boots. It can be really confusing at the end of the day when six children are looking for similar boots different only in size. Thank you for everyone's help.

- Evidence of student learning was sent home to all parents last week! If you have not seen it, please ask your child and/or touch base with your child's Teacher.

Food drive this week's item: Meaty and Macaroni Monday - Please consider donating: Hamburger Helper, pasta, rice, potato or pasta side dishes, canned tuna, canned chicken, peanut butter, etc. Each day this week we will have a new focus to support our local food bank. Please place all food items at the front of the school on Monday. Let's work together and help people in our community!

You are welcome to send all items on one day, spread it out throughout the week or contribute in any way that is suitable for your family.

Monday

Wednesday

• Food Bank - Wheatie Wednesday -Dry Cereal, instant oatmeal, crackers, granola bars.

The Holy Redeemer Parent Council has decided this year to take part in Strathcona County’s “Christmas in the County” event on DECEMBER 3, 2022 - 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM We have sent out a separate email with full details - Please check it out. - Also check out the link below.

Parent Council is looking for volunteers to help us the day of, to set up and take down tables, run a concession and a bake sale! If you are also able to BAKE something for the bake sale, please let them know! We would need bake sale items to be dropped off at the school on Friday December 2 nd . If you would be able to help in any capacity please contact parent council at hrparentcouncil@gmail.com

On October 31 st, the library will be transformed into a frightfully delightful HAUNTED LIBRARY!

Ghouls and Ghosts, witched and werewolves, will be coming to look at all the booooks in the library.

Students will be hearing a Halloween story, enjoying a ghastly tour, and maybe even dancing to some spooky music! It is sure to be a howling good time!
