I hope you enjoyed the wonderful weather this past weekend. We are all very excited for the springtime and warmer days.
Next week will be our CMAS testing week. Please read the information below regarding the new state testing requirements.

CALLING ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENTS!
PARENT MEETING: Join us on Zoom, Thursday, April 8th at 5:00 pm
During this SAC meeting on April 8th, we will hear from the Colorado Symphony as well as an artist from the Lift Every Voice project. We will discuss our exciting plans for our Family Night on May 19th including entertainment, food, games, and more. This will be an awesome celebration for all! Mark your calendars.
In collaboration with The Colorado Symphony, we are starting a schoolwide project called "LIFT EVERY VOICE." As part of our focus on inclusion and equity, this project creates ways for all students to express themselves through the arts.

The State of Colorado was recently granted a waiver from the U.S. Department of Education reducing the number of state tests for students this school year. During the testing window from April 12 - May 14, 2021, Englewood School District will be required to administer certain assessments to all students that attend school in person.
If you wish to have your student participate in the optional content area assessment please complete this form no later than Friday April 16.
ENGLEWOOD ART SHOW
STEM Summer Camp
Students will attend two week half-day sessions, June 21--July 2. Transportation and lunch will be provided each day. Please click the image below to access the application.
Applications are due by Friday, April 23rd.
CHOICE ENROLLMENT WINDOW IS OPEN!
If you live outside of Englewood, and plan to continue in Englewood Schools for 2021/2022 school year, you MUST complete the Choice Enrollment application now in order to attend an Englewood School next year. Those who live out of district and who do not complete a choice enrollment application will not be able to attend Englewood schools in the fall.
Round 1: January 4, 2021 through February 1, 2021
Round 2: February 15, 2021 through August 31, 2021
Englewood offers unique and customized learning opportunities at each school, so you're sure to find one that suits your student. Space is limited, so please fill out the Open Enrollment Application and Agreement (en espaƱol) as soon as you have made a decision.
Return the form to the District Registrar at 4101 S. Bannock St. or to Vivian_Cifuentes@engschools.net during the choice enrollment window.
Final decisions will be made within two weeks of the closing of the enrollment window and families will be notified by mail.

In the Pirate's Cove parking lot, free testing is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Testing requires pre-registration.
