Principal's Note
I can't believe it's already December 1st! We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work in the classroom and their kindness towards each other. As we transition into the holiday and winter season, here are a few important reminders:
1. Winter Gear: Please ensure your child comes to school with appropriate winter gear every day. Students are expected to go outside for 30 minutes during recess, and it's essential they have gloves, snow pants, a winter jacket, boots, a scarf, etc., to stay warm and comfortable.
2. Health Protocols: If your child has a fever or any symptoms of COVID-19, please keep them at home and inform our welcome center secretary, Kelsey (kjklug@sunprairieschools.org) about their absence. We appreciate your vigilance in keeping our school community safe and healthy.
3. Additionally, we've noticed an increase in students wearing masks when experiencing flu symptoms. This practice is completely acceptable and encouraged as a precaution to protect your child and others.
As always, thank you for your ongoing support and trust. Let's continue working together to ensure a safe and enjoyable winter season for everyone.
Un abrazo,
Mrs. Bell

Lil Shopper's Shopping Event
December 21st & 22nd
The Meadow View SCO is bringing a miniature shopping event to our Meadow View students. December 21st and December 22nd Meadow View students will have a chance to purchase holiday items for their loved one's through the Lil Shopper's program.
Yes, this is an opportunity for student's to shop without a loved one having to drive them to a store and pretend to not see what the student wants to purchase. If you want your student to be able to shop it is the caregivers responsibility to send the student to school with money in an envelope marked Lil Shopper's event. Everything at this shopping event will be under $5 and it is NOT required to send money for this event if you don't want to have your student participate.
If you would like your student to participate, but need assistance please contact your student's teacher. If you are interested in volunteering to work at the shopping event a sign-up genius will be coming next week.
SCO Holiday Magic
Are you a crafty caregiver or like to assemble gift bags? The Meadow View SCO is looking for caregivers who would like to assist with staff member holiday gifts and creating some holiday magic. This is a great opportunity for working caregivers that can't volunteer during the day. You can volunteer from the comfort of your own home. If you are interested please reach out to the Meadow View SCO at meadowviewsco@gmail.com
