Quarterly news from PRMS Library
Volume 3, Issue 1
Welcome to the library's newsletter. I share news at the end of each nine weeks. As always, let me know if you have suggestions!
What's new?
Library Redesign
Thank you for your patience as we wrapped up our redesign as the school year was starting. We are still waiting on a few finishing touches, but students seem to love the new space!
PRMS Library Remodel
Library Happenings
Reading Classes
Reading classes visited the library for orientation at the beginning of the year, a MackinVIA scavenger hunt in late September, and a scary readaloud before Halloween.
National History Day
All 8th grade social studies classes visited the library to work on research assignments this quarter. Current classes completed biographical research, and compact/extended classes began working on their National History Day projects. The new space allowed groups to claim their own space to work on digital and print sources while mapping out their work on the mobile whiteboards (below).
