A Little Help Snow Shoveling Program, locations vary in Berthoud
A Little Help is looking for volunteers for their SnowMatch program to keep our older adult members safe this winter and to help them avoid costly fines for not being able to keep up with their snow shoveling. There are several homes in Berthoud that could use your help.
This is how the program works:
Complete a volunteer application at https://alittlehelp.org/snowmatch-signup
*Please note if you are 17 and under, we do ask that you provide a parent’s contact information, as you will need reliable transportation to travel to the older adult you have chosen to help.Once you’ve completed the application, you will be asked to create a user log-in to access our SnowMatch map where you can select your home.
Once you’ve selected a home by hitting accept, you will be given the older adult’s contact information to call and introduce yourself. Please note that by accepting a home, you are committing to shoveling snow for the remainder of the snow season. Consider teaming up with family members or friends to ensure the job gets done if you’re out of town!

🚗 BHS Parking Permits 🚗
BHS Parking Permits
ALL students that drive to BHS are required to display a parking permit in their vehicle to park on campus. Please register your vehicle at the following link: http://bit.ly/bhspermit or use the QR code posted by the main office for your FREE parking permit (1st=free, if replacement is needed=$2.00/ea.) Once you have completed the form and it has been processed, you will be called to the office to pick up your permit. The permits are good until they graduate and will be turned in at that time.
Why is this necessary? For the students and staff safety we need information on every vehicle here at the school. Any vehicle without a permit or who is parked in violation of other school rules or laws may receive a Parking Violation from BHS. First offense is a $20.00 fine and fines go up for second and third violations. Payment must be made to the school’s Bookkeeping Office within 14 days after receiving the violation. Continual violations or a serious violation may result in loss of parking privileges at BHS. If you have any questions, please speak with SRO Deputy, Vince Mosley or Campus Security
