Please plan to join us on Thursday, September 10th at 6 pm for our first booster meeting of the year. Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve, located at 2616 Kildaire Farm Road in Cary, has a sheltered outdoor classroom with lots of room for us to social distance. We have much to talk about and are looking forward to seeing you all. Don't forget to bring a chair!

Our students may not be enjoying a normal marching band or class band experience this fall, but the booster club is still busy working behind the scenes to keep our programs strong. The Athens Drive Band, like so many others, is facing difficult times. With the loss of several major fundraisers, we are currently focusing our efforts on developing a new initiative called "Back the Band", obtaining sponsorships and corporate support, and expanding our Fall BBQ and Dewey's Holiday Store. If you would like to join one of these teams, please reach out to us at president@athensdriveband.com. Just a few hours of your time and talent could make all the difference! We can't do it without you.

Coupon Book sales are still on-going! If you do not need credit for your band account, you can help the band by selling coupon books and donating ALL the proceeds to the general fund. Just send an email to couponbooks@athensdriveband.com and let Liz and Georgia know that you want to donate your portion of the sales to the general fund. This is a great way to give back to the band at a time we really need it!
