Staring Wednesday, October 4th, student council will be selling these bracelets for $5 cash in the cafeteria from 7:45AM until 8:15AM. We will continue selling bracelets first thing every Wednesday morning until we sell out. We are super excited about this fundraiser! If you happen to shop at Touch of Heaven downtown feel free to let her know what a great job she did making these for us!

Thank you to our title team (Mrs. Stuckey, Mrs. Wade, Mrs. Saladin and Mrs. Santos who translated) and second grade teachers for creating such a fun event at Washington Intermediate. We thank each of you that were able to come and have fun with us for the evening! There will be an event for 3rd grade and 4th grade families in the coming months.

Fourth Graders at Washington Intermediate ventured to the Daviess County 4H Grounds for the Annual Farm Fair. This event is put on by the SWDC and incorporates different job opportunities along with local agriculturally related fields. Students were able to learn from different presenters on various topics including, raising livestock, local crops, health opportunities and even education on recreational topics like bee keeping and dog training. It was a great opportunity to see many different jobs in agriculture right here in our community.

Helping Others is a recorded interview that we share out weekly. It gives students an opportunity to learn more about other adults and students at Washington Intermediate. We are starting our series where kids will be leading the interviews and have an opportunity to interview adults in our community who have a career they are interested in. This has been such a fun way to share different careers and giving our students an opportunity to lead in a big way! Looking forward to more interviews this year!
