President's Report

Its been a little while since I have written, my apologies.

Here's a quick update:

• Uniforms
  New uniforms are on the way. Design and pricing is being finalsied. The club will undertake a bulk order initially and all who purchase will receive a discounted price.
  Information and ordering details will be sent out shortly.
  
• Website
  The committee agreed to engage a website designer to update our website.
  We look forward to bringing you a revamped site with an added feature, searchable results database - watch this space.
• Junior Spring Racing Carnival
  Spring is nearly here and the ORC JSRC will be back, details will be published on the Spring Calendar, Website and Facebook.
• Participation Medals
  We are replacing the participation certificates with bling !!
  There is also a new award structure, previously the award was issued for every 100 runs, it is recognised that it takes a while (just over a year if your super keen!) to get to 100 runs, therefore medals will be issued after every 25 runs up to 100 runs and then for every 100 thereafter e.g.
  25, 50, 75, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, and so forth
  Members who have received milestones from 2 July onward will receive medals as soon as they arrive.
  
• Constitution
  The committee had a very productive meeting last month drafting a Constitution for the Club, we have another meeting planned in the coming weeks, once we have a final draft it will be distributed for comment.

• Wednesday's moves back to a 5.00 pm start
• The Junior Spring Racing Carnival is on again
• Trail Runs are continuing on a monthly basis,
  mandatory requirements and equipment apply to participate in these runs
