RHS Counselors begin scheduling HS students

Update March 6, 2023: The counselors have finished meeting with all rising seniors and are now meeting with rising juniors for course-selection.

Friday, March 31

• Senior Options Applications are due
• All student course requests entered into Genesis (8th -11th graders)

Friday, April 7th

• Morris County School of Technology Share-Time applications are due

• Take a look at all of the courses that will be offered next year in the 2023-2024 Program of Studies!
• More resources regarding RHS' Course Selection Process.
• Information for sophomores about Morris County School of Technology's Share Time Program.

• Students must return a signed copy of their course selection sheet to their counselor in order for their requests to be entered into Genesis.
• Students should be on the lookout for passes from their counselors. If a student is unable to attend their meeting, they should email their counselor ASAP to reschedule.

• Counselors will be meeting with current juniors to introduce Major Clarity and college planning.

• If you have not done so already, sign up to take the SAT or ACT.
• Attend college & career fairs
• Start researching colleges
• Begin visiting campuses to get a better understanding of what institutions may offer and what you do/don't like.
