St. Mary's Lions Letter
October 31, 2023
Dear St. Mary’s Family,
We braved the cold weather and it paid off! Our students had fun at the Oil Ranch in spite of trying to stay warm this morning. Thankfully the sun came out and provided much needed heat! Thank you to all of our chaperones who joined us today. Your willingness to chaperone the field trip to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our students is truly commendable. The excitement in our students' voices today is a testament to the positive impact you had on this educational adventure. Thank you!
As we closed out last week with Parent/Student/Teacher conferences, I want to take a moment to express our gratitude for your participation and support. These conferences give us a wonderful opportunity to work together to ensure your child's success. Your child's academic journey is part of an ongoing partnership between home and school and we are committed to maintaining open lines of communication with our parents to continue supporting our students as they grow.
ALL SAINTS DAY MASS - TOMORROW, NOVEMBER 1ST
Tomorrow we celebrate All Saints' Day, which is a Holy Day of Obligation in the Catholic Church. It is a day to venerate all the holy men and women who have been canonized by the Church. On Thursday, November 2nd, the Church remembers and prays for the faithful departed: our brothers and sisters who have died marked with the sign of faith. We will celebrate Mass tomorrow, Wednesday, November 1st, at 9:00 AM. Students who are not dressed as a saint are required to be in full Mass uniform. Those who come to school dressed as a saint will take part in the procession before Mass and may change into Free Dress attire after Mass.
THANK YOU TO OUR PTO!
Many thanks to our PTO who organized a fun Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat last Thursday for our students! Thank you to all the parents who contributed to the excitement! See pictures in this newsletter that captured some of the joy!
WELCOME OUR NEW ADVANCEMENT COORDINATOR, MS. ACACIA CROFT!
We are happy to announce a new addition to our staff! Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Acacia Croft as our new Advancement Coordinator. Ms. Croft comes to us with years of experience in development and will be instrumental in ensuring St. Mary's continues its lasting legacy and tradition. We believe that with her expertise, we will achieve even greater success in our mission to not only grow, but thrive. Many of you already know Ms. Croft as parent to Isaiah (1st grade). Experiencing St. Mary's as a parent will be a huge plus! Welcome, Ms. Croft!
