Closing thoughts for 2022
Kei nga maunga, kei nga awa, o nga hau e whā, tenā koutou, tenā koutou, tenā tātou katoa.
As the year draws to a close I would like to sincerely thank our families for contributing to our Inglewood Primary School community. Together with the contribution of our dedicated Board of Trustees, Parent Link Team and School Staff we have a great recipe for success. I am continually overwhelmed by your outstanding commitment to our community.
To those families and students also leaving us at the end of this year, I trust your hopes and dreams have come to fruition and that as you move to another primary or secondary school your future hopes will be realised. I also extend our thanks for your involvement at Inglewood Primary School in so many different ways.
Our community’s strength is built on the contribution of families; for every word or praise or constructive feedback you have offered, for every raffle ticket, for every parent meeting, whanau hui you have attended, for every activity you assisted with, (when we were able) for every small or large thing you have done THANK YOU.
Our Inglewood Primary warm and welcoming atmosphere is the result of families working together.
We have amazing children here at Inglewood Primary and it has been a pleasure to be part of their learning journey this year.

First Day Back 2023 Monday 30 January
We start this off with a "Learning Transition Partnership Day" which will be Monday 30 January. On this day we will be having 15 minute slots with each student and family in their homeroom class.
This time slot is about informing the 2023 teacher of anything they will need to know about your child, socially, wellbeing, learning difficulties, or special talents and skills they may have. We will learn about your child's and family's strengths and ideas you may have to contribut to learning opportunities at axhool.
Our teachers will be focussed on each family, listening and planning for a successful 2023. We encourage all families to attend, even if you or your child knows their 2023 teacher. Our feedback has highlighted that this is a fantastic opportunity to have a positive transition into our new school year. We look forward to seeing. Further information on how to book to book will be available before the end of term.
Each booking is 15 minutes long. Please ensure you arrive on time to each booking.

Term 1 2023 Enrolment
Enrolment at Inglewood School is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available on the school website or from the school office.
The board is now inviting applications from parents who wish to enrol their children at Inglewood Primary School starting within Term 1 2023.
All applications must be received by 3pm Monday 23 January for Term 1 2023. If a ballot for out of zone places is required, it will be held on Wednesday 25 January 2023. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held.
The board has determined that 20 places from Year 1-8 are likely to be available for out-of-zone students within Term 1 2023. The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone. Parents of students who live within the home zone and intend enrolling their child at any time during the year should notify the school to assist the school to plan appropriately.
The application form for enrolment is available from the school website, or from the school office.
