Halloween and COVID-19 Safety

Halloween is less than one month away! This is always one of our favorite days at school and we plan to still have some fun, even in the midst of the pandemic. However, a modified protocol has been established to host our festivities for students as safe as possible and mitigate any potential risks. We are communicating this information early so you can plan, but please note everything is subject to change during these crazy times. Halloween parties will take place on October 29th after lunch.

Students may wear costumes to school, but a public parade will not be held.
Teachers will host parties, as parent visitors may not enter the building at this time.
Treats must be store-bought, individually packaged, and at the school by October 26th to allow them to 'rest' prior to being distributed for student consumption.
Room party coordinators will work with the classroom teachers on the party activities and treats.

First Grade

Thank you to all of the amazing first-grade families that have donated items from our Amazon wishlist! The kids have been excited to use each and every one of them. It has been like Christmas in September in our classroom. We appreciate you!

Parent Club

The Hollis Staff would like to thank the Parent Club for providing Hollis Hawks masks to the staff! They come with adjustable straps that are nice for different size faces! Extra masks are available if you would like to purchase one or purchase any additional. Contact Parent Club at parentsclub@hollis328.net if you are interested. The cost is now $5 each.

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held virtually on Friday, October 30 from 8:00-1:00 pm and Monday, November 2 from 2:00-7:00 pm. Contact your child's teacher for signing up.
