Queen of Apostles School
Term 1 Week 10 - Thursday 6 April 2023
Holy Thursday Prayer
We thank You for the gift of Your Son.
May our entry into the mysteries of His life, death
and resurrection give us the confidence to live with
unshakeable faith in Your faithful and abiding love.
We make this prayer to You in His name.
Amen.
Term 1 Reflection
Hard to believe we are at the end of Term One, it has certainly gone very quickly. Much has happened this term and there have been some wonderful learning opportunities for all of our students here at Queen of Apostles.
Next term will be no different and I encourage each and every student in our school to keep striving to be the best person they can be.
I also thank our parent community for your support throughout the term. There will be many more opportunities to be involved next term and I encourage you to do so.
I wish everyone a safe, happy and enjoyable holiday.
I look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday 26th April for the start of Term 2.
Easter Hat Parade & Easter Raffle
There were some excellent Easter Hat creations at our parade yesterday. We certainly do have some very creative students (and parents) here at Queen of Apostles. It was wonderful to see a big crowd of parents, grandparents and friends in attendance. Congratulations to the hat parade and raffle winners. A list of winners is in the P&F section of the newsletter. I would like to thank the P&F for organising this for our community.

Winter Uniform
Term 2 means a change to winter uniforms.
To give parents more time to purchase any winter items needed from the Uniform Shop, students can wear either summer or winter uniform to school for the first two weeks of Term 2. By Week 3, all students are expected to be in full winter uniform.
The Uniform Shop will next be open on Wednesday 26th April from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and every Wednesday during term time.
Enrolment Applications
We are pleased to advise that our Kindy class for 2024 is now full, however, there are still places available for PreKindy 2024.
We have also commenced interviews for 2025 PreKindy and Kindy.
- If you have a child born between 1st July 2020 and 30th June 2021, they can be enrolled for Kindy 2025.
- Children can attend PreKindy once they have turned 3 years of age, but your application can be lodged at any time prior to this.
The 2024 Kindy class filled very quickly last year, so please don't wait until the end of the year to enrol for 2025 and find that there are no places available. All enrolment information is available on our website, including the forms required.
Applications can be forwarded by email and must include the Application for Enrolment form, Pre-Enrolment Interview form, plus copies of birth certificate and baptism certificate (if Catholic). If neither parent was born in Australia, copies of visas or citizenship certificates for parents and the child are also required.
Please note that separate enrolment forms are required for Pre-Kindy and Kindy and there is a $25.00 Application Fee payable for each application.
We urge families to lodge applications as soon as possible
to secure an interview during Term 2.
