FROM DOAN'S DESK...
Extra! Extra! Read all about us!
In the coming weeks, Monarch will be participating in the BVSD Showcase (October 11th) and our own Open Enrollment Night (November 28). At these events, we will be putting on display all the things that make Monarch High School extraordinary. We have put together a pamphlet that tries to highlight all of our academic, athletic, and activities excellence. This is really difficult to do in a short amount of space as there is so much to talk about. In my video update this week I try and give voice to all the extras that exist at Monarch and our goal of having all current and future Monarch families know about what makes our school great.
Thank you to everyone who supports our school and helps us achieve great things.
Follow the links below to see our showcase pamphlet, watch the principal’s video, and read the Monarch Messenger.

2023 IMAGE SUMMIT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
We're excited to be hosting our annual Image Summit Leadership Conference this year and hope your school will send a delegation! It will be Wednesday, Nov. 1 and Thursday, Nov. 2 for young people in grades 5-12th.
The mission of this youth conference is to empower young people from across the state to use their voice to impact government and become active community members. We want to build networks amongst young leaders here in Colorado! On day one of this event, we will offer attendees a sampling of breakout workshops from art to diversity in hopes to empower leaders, inspire community activist, and build confidence. On day two we will give attendees the opportunity to put their new-found skills and confidence to work, learning about local government and having the opportunity to meet and converse with elected officials from across the state.
Check out our video from last year's conference: 2022 Image Summit Leadership Conference

PORTRAITS FOR ALL
“Portraits for All” believes that every high school senior deserves to have a high-quality senior portrait that they are proud of. We connect students who aren't in a financial position to pay for a portrait session with professional photographers in their area who are willing to donate their time and talent. Any rising high school senior in the Boulder/Denver metro area who qualifies for free or reduced lunch or can demonstrate financial need through another avenue (such as referral by a high school liaison) is eligible to request a session. We will do our best to match you with a photographer if one is available near you.
