Mississippi Food Drive
Mississippi Families,
It is that time of year again when Mississippi Students and Staff will be participating in our Food Drive. It will be held Tuesday, December 5th through Friday, December 8th in the link before school. Students and staff are asked to bring in various food shelf donations that go to the Anoka County Christmas Committee. Each day is a different theme, but we will gladly accept all unopened, non perishable items on any of the days. Our goal is 1,000 items by Friday!
Character Trait for December: Empathy
Our Character Strong trait for the month of the December Empathy. One way to think about Empathy is “understanding and connecting with other people’s feelings.” Empathy is a practice that can help us grow strong relationships. Across grade levels, students will be developing skills like perspective-taking, conflict resolution, and leadership. Click here to view some "PurposeFull Pursuits" for ideas on how you can practice empathy at home.
Report Cards Will Be Available Online Only
Elementary school report cards will be available to view online only
New for the 2023-24 school year, elementary school report cards will be available online and will no longer be sent through postal mail or student’s backpacks. Families will be able to access report cards by logging into A-HConnect or viewing it on the ParentVUE mobile app.
The switch to online report cards means that information is available to review at the conclusion of each trimester. Schools will notify families when the report cards are available to view. Parents, guardians and any person with educational rights to a student will be able to access the student’s report card online.
