It Takes A Village
CUSD 201 is Showing Up in so Many Ways
We are always looking for fathers, uncles, grandfathers, and local community members that want to help out. The program runs every Friday and began this school year. We will continue to grow this program over course of this year and beyond.
Email our Manning Mentor Coordinator - Henry Gomez - for more details.
Teachers periodically have opportunities for parents to come in and assist. Whether you connect through the PTO's Grade Level Ambassador or classroom teacher, there is always a chance to volunteer your time. We love when parents are willing to help beyond their own child's homeroom. It helps to reinforce the idea that we are ALL here for EACHOTHER.
*Shout out to Angel, who still works with some of our students and Social Worker.
Manning teachers and staff have an everlasting passion and commitment to our students. With the added challenges that still occur while teaching in a pandemic, they have worked together to reach students in new ways, support them academically and socially/emotionally, and continue to learn from their colleagues. Our professional learning communities (PLCs) are more important than ever.
