Standards Referenced Grading
To learn more mark your calendar for an SRG Informational Meeting Tuesday, September 20th at 6pm here at RBHS.
We have made some changes to the alpha marks you will see reported in your student's gradebook. In order to more effectively communicate, we have eliminated several alpha marks from our gradebooks that you may have seen in the past. Below is a description of the only marks you will see in a teacher's gradebook. Please know that the only gradebook of record for your student in CPS is in the Home Access Center. Specific class content and materials are housed in Schoology, but each student's official, accurate grade can only be found in Home Access Center.

- Laptops and chargers will be returned to the Media Center each year for updates. All students are issued a charger at laptop checkout; those who need a replacement will be charged $20.
- It is very important that students label their chargers with their names.
- Laptops are an essential tool for learning, and students should come to school daily with their laptops charged.
- A limited number of chargers will be available for checkout in the Media Center each day. These loaned chargers must remain at school, and are only available for one day checkout.
- Students who forget their laptops will need to request a loaner laptop from their Assistant Principal.

Alternating Unassigned Time (AUT)
RBHS offers Alternating Unassigned Time (AUT) as an alternative to the traditional study hall. Its purpose is to allow sophomore, junior and senior students flexibility in structuring their non-class time and to establish an environment of trust and respect in which students can learn time management. During AUT, students may access tutoring, computers, counseling, cafeteria services, and limited access to the Media Center. See the video directly below for a detailed explanation of the AUT Policy.
RBHS Open Lunch for Juniors and Seniors
CPS District policy states that students in grades 11-12 may leave campus for lunch only if they have a signed permission form on file with the school. Parents may provide permission by completing the form below.
Parents can give permission for their student to leave campus for AUT and Lunch by completing the appropriate permission forms. The forms will be handed out during a meeting with students to go over AUT and Lunch policies. Only juniors and seniors are allowed to leave campus for AUT and/or Lunch.

RBHS Drop Off and Pick Up Information
Rock Bridge Families, getting in and out of our school at the beginning or end of day can be a challenge. Please read and view the following so you can assist in making this process as smooth as possible for all RBHS stakeholders.
Parent Drop-off
Morning drop off should occur at the East Circle Drive. This is the same location that bus drop off will be occurring. Parents dropping off their students should remain in the left lane of the circle drive. Busses will be asked to remain on the right at this time. Click here to view a video titled "SY23ArrivalRBHS" with greater details.
Parent Pick-up
Following the conclusion of the school day, parent pick up will occur at the South Parking Lot. It is common for there to be considerable congestion in all entries and exits at the end of our school day. Please consider picking up your child after our busses have exited the circle drive at 4:15. After 4:15 you can pick your child up at any location on the RBHS property.
