Laps/Vueltas
- We far exceeded our school-wide lap goal (2000 laps) with an impressive 3655 laps./Hemos superado con creces nuestro objetivo de vueltas en toda la escuela (2000 vueltas) con un impresionante 3655 vueltas.
- 5th grade completed the most laps & earned an extra recess./5to grado completó la mayor cantidad de vueltas y ganó un recreo extra.

- Now that everyone has received their community t-shirt, we are happy to announce the return of Spirit Fridays! See flier attached. Feel free to wear any piece of Bridgeport spirit wear (or our colors: blue, white and red) on Fridays and encourage your students to do the same. Our next online spirit wear sale will be held January 15-26, 2024./ Ahora que todos han recibido su camiseta de la comunidad, ¡estamos felices de anunciar el regreso de los Viernes de Espíritu! Únete a Tualatin Together para una proyección especial del documental ScreenAgers
ScreenAgers is a documentary on mental health and its intersection with screen time. Dr. Delaney takes a deeply personal approach to the topic. Through poignant, and unexpectedly funny stories along with surprising insight from authors, psychologists, and brain scientists, ScreenAgers reveals how tech time impacts kids' development and offers solutions on how adults can empower kids to best navigate the digital world and find balance.
The film is appropriate for adults with students in grades 5-12.
This event is hosted in partnership with the Hazelbrook Middle School PSO.

6:00 - 7:30 p.m. We will view the documentary and have time for a guided discussion.

- Safety first : No blood or play weapons
- Culturally appropriate: Please make sure costumes are not a representation of cultures with which your family does not identify or genders with which your student does not identify.
- Focus on learning: Even on this fun day, we will be learning!
- As a result, avoid costumes like inflatables or anything that makes it a challenge to move about freely.
CLASSES WILL ALSO BE HAVING A BRIEF FALL CELEBRATION.
MATERIALS PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL AND PTO.

Our school is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember. You can purchase keepsake products customized with your child’s art and every purchase goes right back to our school. All orders will be delivered to your student by December 15. Look for order forms going home with students on October 30.

We love our four-legged friends, but please do not bring them on school grounds while students are present as stated in school board policy KGB. The excitement of dismissal can make even the friendliest of dogs nervous and more likely to snap.
