Morning Drop-off and Afternoon Pick-up
Dismissal begins at 2:35 pm. Students will need to be picked up by 3:10 pm.
We ask that you please be patient and follow the directions of staff members and campus police to ensure car rider drop off and pick up are safe for everyone.
To assist with traffic flow, we have developed a color code system to designate car riders by grade level. Parents will be able to pick up their assigned color card at open house in the cafeteria. We ask that parents write their child's first and last name on the color card to display in your windshield during morning drop off and afternoon pick up.

POWER SCHOOL - PARENT ACCESS - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Every parent/guardian should monitor his/her child's grades at least once a week. Parents can have direct access to each teacher's gradebook. Grades will begin posting after the 10th day of school and will be updated at least once per week. Student report cards will be viewable online at the end of each quarter via Power School Parent Access.
If you had access last year at any SCCPSS school, your login information and access code remain the same. If you have never had access before, please use this link for accessing the Request for a PowerSchool Parent Access account: https://spwww.sccpss.com/dad/sis/Pages/Parent-Access.aspx
Students should have access so they may monitor their own grades as well.
Updated Immunizations for All 7th Grade Students
Attention Parents of Rising 7th graders:
This is a reminder that your student is in the need of additional immunizations before beginning 7th grade in Georgia. Please make your child's appointment with his/her health care provider or visit the DPH/other medical clinic as soon as possible; facilities will be exceedingly busy as the summer progresses and may not be able to accommodate your child on short notice.
After receiving the vaccinations, please request a copy of FORM 3231 from the health care provider and assure both boxes at the top right corner of the page have an "X", confirming your child's immunization record is "Complete For K through 6th grade" and " Complete For 7th through 10th Grade. Please submit a copy of Form 3231 to Nurse Marcy as an attachment in an email at marcy.mitchell@sccpss.com or drop off a copy at the school. If your child is not immunization compliant, he/she will need to be withdrawn from school, per Georgia law.
MEDICATION MUST BE DELIVERED TO NURSE MARCY BY A GUARDIAN
Important Reminder: Students may never bring medication of any type to school - no aspirin, Motrin, vitamins, prescriptions, inhalers, epi-pens, sunscreen, over-the-counter products, etc. All medication and over-the-counter products must be signed in with Nurse Marcy by a parent or guardian.
With proper physician orders, inhalers and epi-pens may be issued to students by Nurse Marcy to carry on campus. Please have your child's physician sign the form from this link. https://spwww.sccpss.com/District%20Public%20Forms/Authorization%20for%20Self%20Administration.pdf
Keeping Our Students Safe on Social Media
We encourage everyone, especially our students, to THINK before posting:
- T - Is it True?
- H - Is it Helpful?
- I - Is it Inspiring?
- N - Is it Necessary?
- K - Is it Kind?
