Message from the Principal
We had a FANTASTIC start to our school year. As I walked the hallways all week, I felt the energy and excitement from students and staff. The Promethean Boards are a SIGNIFICANT upgrade from our old SmartBoards!
AM DROP OFF
EXCEPTIONAL work from all of our parents driving students to school in the morning. Thank you for following the system and more importantly supporting a safe environment. A few reminders:- Parents should remain in their cars.
- Please organize the daily school supplies in your vehicle so your child/ren can easily access them from the sidewalk after exiting your vehicle. Please try to avoid storing supplies in the trunk area.
- Drop-off starts at 7:10 AM. If your child enters the building by 7:30 AM, that allows them 5 minutes to visit their locker, get breakfast, and get to homeroom without being marked tardy.
- THE DROP-OFF LINE DID NOT IMPACT THE START OF OUR SCHOOL DAY THIS WEEK. BRAVO!! Chief Nieus sent me a personal message complimenting CMS and the parents for not causing traffic delays on North Street all week!
SAFETY DRILL
On Friday, September 25, CMS will have a practice lockdown drill. Prior to the drill, I will make an announcement and Chardon Police will be in our building to observe the practice drill. I you have any questions or concerns please call me.
Enjoy your weekend.
-Mr. Tomco
