Dear St. Anne Parents,

Our Catholic Schools' Week started off with a bang this year. Pajama Day was a great success! Who wouldn't love to come to school in their pajamas? Yesterday's liturgy allowed all our students to come together in prayer thanking God for all that He has given us...our families, our friends, and our school!

Today was another big day. In addition to students wearing their crazy hats, masks, or hair-dos, Mrs. Flaviani orchestrated an Iko Iko Dance A-thon! Keeping all of the current health and safety guidelines in place, all K-8 students at home and those here at school, wearing their masks and six feet socially distanced, danced Iko Iko together. Smiles (even though you could not see them under their masks) abounded in every grade and every student. It was a fun event enjoyed by all our students! The dance was filmed and may be made available the first part of next week. Service Day is tomorrow followed by our Sports' Day and Bingo Game on Friday. We all look forward to continuing our week-long celebration....Remember our mantra this year...

"Loving it and having fun!"

Today, I have sent home a form to every family whose child(ren) is/are currently at school for their instruction. The SFDPH requires that every family who has a child(ren) attending in-person school have a signed form on file in the school office. A similar form was sent home a few months ago, but we need to have this new form signed and kept on file for every in-person family. Please sign and return the form to your child's teacher by Friday, Feb. 5. Thanks for your attention to this matter.

The next date for Distance Learning Students to return to In-Person instruction here at school is Tuesday, February 16. If you would like to have your child return to In-Person instruction on February 16, please email me AND your child's teacher with that request. Once we receive your request, we will email you back with any additional information needed. Please note, however, you MUST let us know if you would like your child to return on the 16th by next Wednesday, Feb. 10. We are all looking forward to welcoming ALL of our students back to the school building in the near future.

We will be taking school pictures on Thursday, February 18 for students in Preschool - 7th grade. Graduation pictures will be taken on Friday, February 19. We have a new photographer working with our school this year, Mugsyclicks Photography. We welcome them to our community and know that they will do a wonderful job capturing our students' best poses!!! More information will be coming home in the next few weeks.

Simply a reminder...students returning to In-School Learning are required to have a "Daily Health Screening Form" filled-out upon entering the school. A copy is included with this newsletter for you to download. Thank you!

If you have a child who will be starting Kindergarten next year, please fill out his/her application and send it to Mrs. Finnegan as soon as possible.
