District Assessment Interims
We are preparing for District Assessment Interim season. Students enrolled in the courses below will take a District Assessment Interim (midterm) for 5% of their grade.
District Assessments are developed to align to the Academic, Knowledge, and Skills (AKS) and GCPS instructional calendars in the areas of language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. These assessments allow students to demonstrate what they know, understand, and are able to do and help teachers determine whether students are performing as expected or need additional support to be successful.
District Assessment Interim Testing Schedule:
- 9th and 11th grade Language Arts: Wednesday, March 6th
- Algebra, Geometry, Accelerated Geometry, and Advanced Algebra: Thursday, March 7th
- Biology, Chemistry, and Physics: Monday, March 11th
- World History and U.S. History: Tuesday, March 12th
The District Assessment Interims will be given online. Student must bring their Chromebook (charged) and a charger.
Please be sure to attend school for these testing days.

Course Registration for the 2024/2025 School Year Has Come to an End
If your student has a blue registration sheet, we ask that they please turn that into their advisement teacher or to the Curriculum Office.
At this time the Curriculum Office is working through all course change requests, and this could take up to two to three weeks. Students can see their course requests in StudentVue using either the app or eCLASS. A student can see if a change request has been approved or made or not approved by viewing their course requests. For those requests not approved, it is likely due to the student not performing highly at the current level and therefore does not warrant a move to a higher level or a student lacks a required pre-requisite to be in the requested course. Again, we are currently working on these course change requests and will send out something once these are completed.
Why Should Your Panther Ride the Bus to School?
1. Safety
2. Environmental Benefits
