Memorial Day Planting
Join the PPCS landscape CREW planting native plants and pulling weeds this Monday, Memorial Day, May 30th 12:30 to 4:30pm. We will have 125 plants, top soil, stakes, and mulch, if you have your own sturdy garden tools for weeding and digging bring them along. We will meet in the front of the school at 12:30 and will be working until 4:30, please dress for the weather.
The school and some generous parents have purchased the plants from our local native plant society sale to be planted on the school grounds. There isn't enough time left in the school year for another planting day during class, however, we would still love to have student involvement getting them in the ground! If you have any questions contact David Herbold: davidherb@yahoo.com
End of Year Picnic
Save the date! Sunday June 5, from 2 - 5 pm at Mountain View Park. All PPCS families are welcome to come kick back at the park for a pot-luck picnic and social time! It's been such a long time since we could all get together. We hope to see you there!

Empowering Parents Grant Program
The Empowering Parents Grant program is aimed at addressing learning loss among Idaho students. Families making less than $60,000 have priority status for receiving funds. Recipients can receive up to $1,000 per student, or $3,000 per household to help families cover the cost of a number of educational needs — such as a laptop, internet access, learning materials, or physical or occupational therapy.
