Greetings Panther Families!!

We are approaching the end of our first nine-week grade reporting period. Many of you have engaged in parent-teacher conferences to learn of your child’s current academic performance, share important information and resources, and/or make plans for a strong finish for this first semester. We will host an official week of Parent Teacher Conferences, October 31-November 4. Report cards will be visible, October 14 on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. We truly appreciate the partnership for your child’s success at Bethune.

The upcoming week will have some student holidays. The dates are listed below. Please plan accordingly.

· Monday, October 10th Indigenous Peoples Day (no school for students and staff)

· Tuesday, October 11th Professional Development Day (no school for students)

· Wednesday, October 12th Teacher Workday (no school for students)

We look forward to seeing our Bethunites back in the building on Thursday, October 13th for our normal school day.

Parents, please be on the lookout weekly for the Gold Communication Folders coming home every Thursday! These folders contain very important documentation for you to review, and in some cases, return back to the school. Weekly correspondences are also sent home to inform you of what your student is currently learning in the classroom, what they will be learning next, and ways for you to help continue instruction at home.

Infinite Campus is our unique way of communicating grades, disciplinary referrals, attendance, student schedules, and much more with parents. Ms. Render, our dedicated Data Clerk, & Dr. Smith, our awesome AP, are your contacts for all things Infinite Campus.
