Hello Hornet Families!!!
Happy Halloween Week!!! As we prepare for the day many of our students and staff look forward to, I wanted to share some guidelines to ensure a fun and safe celebration for everyone. Many of our Hornets, including staff, will embrace the Halloween spirit by dressing in their favorite costumes. In the interest of safety, we ask that all of those participating cooperate with the following guidelines:
- Costumes are permitted but we ask that they are appropriate for a school setting.
- Those dressing up are not permitted to wear costumes, face paint, or masks that obstruct their vision or prevent staff from identifying who they are. We want to ensure everyone's safety.
- Weapons or weapon-like accessories are not allowed as part of the costume. Let's keep the focus on creativity, fun, and positivity.
As always, ensuring the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. We appreciate your support in ensuring that your student's costumes align with our school's guidelines.
Mr. Estes

KEALING'S NEW 6TH GRADE AP
Hello, my name is Sabrina Sage and I am so excited to be Kealing's new 6th grade assistant principal. Walking the halls, I can see passion, creativity, and academic pride exuberating from our kiddos. This observation demonstrates to me that this school is special.
A little bit about myself, I have been in education for 10+ years and have worked in schools all over Austin and Brooklyn, NY, Additionally, I am a new mommy to my son Hendricks Sage. He is now almost 10 months now and the ruler of our house. As a new parent, it brings a new perspective to my toolbelt.
Thank you for welcoming me into your school and I look forward to growing with your 6th graders.
