Summer Newsletter Edition (June-August)
The 2023-24 school year is coming to a close, and oh what an amazing school year it has been. We laughed, cried, hit rock bottom, and rose above it together this year. This newsletter is a summer edition full of summer highlights, events, and supports before we return in fall. If you are in need of any assistance over the summer months, please bookmark this newsletter and utilize the resources shared with you. We hope that you have a safe, relaxing, and rejuvenating summer. We will see you in the 2024-25 school year!

The Giving Tree Back to School Event
The Giving Tree is excited for this yearās Back-to-School Event for Howard-Suamico School District. HSSD families who are already connected with The Giving Tree, who qualify for Free/Reduced meal benefits or who are experiencing a current hardship are eligible for this event. We help make sure your student has an education without barriers, whatever that need may be. From help with monthly food, field trip fees and other financial stressors that may come up, we are here to support. Green Bay Botanical Gardens: Discount Price!
Physical activity has countless benefits. Start small and always be safe. Walking is a way to stay active. The Green Bay Botanical Garden is excited to make the Garden more accessible through its partnership with Museums for All! Please pass the voice!
If you or someone you know receives food assistance (SNAP benefits), you can visit the Garden for a reduced price. Simply bring your EBT card to our Guest Experience Team during regular hours and get in for just $1 per person (children 0-2 enter free). Families can bring up to four people.

Care Solace - Counseling Support at Your Fingertips
Care Solace is a resource that provides counseling care coordination services for our students, staff, and families. It helps individuals find mental health care providers and substance use treatment centers 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year.

Brown County Crisis Center
Crisis Center is here to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in any stressful crisis situation. Our counselors are fully trained in crisis intervention, and are here to listen and help you find a solution for your immediate needs, as well as help you cope with stress in the future.

Women's Self Love Group
Runs every Monday from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm from: June 10th to July 29th
8 weeks of understanding how to love yourself again by working through the Self-Love Workbook for Women by Megan Logan, MSW, LCSW. Ran by Courtney Covill (Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student Intern):
