Save your receipts!
Purchasing school supplies can get expensive for families. You should save your receipts from these purchases because most school supply purchases qualify for a valuable K-12 Education Credit or Subtraction. Community Education
A Big thank you from the Gladstone Woodworking Club!
Jill Markovich recently donated a treasure trove of woodcarving tools and accessories to Gladstone Senior Programs previously owned by Paul Kummel, a retired Principal of Richardson Elementary School.
We now have an amazing collection of tools at our disposal, ready to take your woodworking skills to the next level.
The woodworking club meets at Gladstone in Room 107A from 1-3pm every Tuesday. One of our very own members, Dennis St. George, won a blue ribbon at the State Fair this year in the woodcarving and whittling class. Congratulations Dennis!
To learn more about the many activities that Gladstone has to offer, check our our website:https://communityeducation.isd622.org/adult/gladstone

Gladstone Little Free Library
This beautiful little library was created by Laura Greenlee-Karp, and it holds a very special place in our hearts. It's not just about books; it's about celebrating diversity, inclusion, and the power of storytelling.
The library pays tribute to "The Snowy Day" by Jack Ezra Keats, a timeless tale that features a young African-American boy named Peter. Jack Ezra Keats, an author and illustrator, was a visionary who recognized the importance of representation in children's literature.
Gladstone Little Free Library stands as a symbol of this commitment to diversity and inclusivity. It houses a treasure trove of books for both adults and children, inviting everyone to learn, grow, and explore new worlds.
We invite you to visit the Gladstone Little Free Library, take a book, leave a book, and be part of a community that celebrates the power of stories to unite and inspire.
Let's continue to honor the legacy of Jack Ezra Keats and his dedication to ensuring that every child sees themselves in the pages of a book.
