DIGITAL READING is HERE
While many of us prefer reading paper books, during the age of Covid-19, we are all turning to more and more digital resources. EBooks and E Audio books are becoming ubiquitous. Look below to find many resources available from all kinds of libraries and archives who consistently offered free and vetted resources to the public. I am also including some highlights from our Single Sign On, Classlink, and some pay services that are offering free resources. This list is hardly exhaustive, but may be helpful in finding the resources you need for our continuous learning.
Local Public Libraries with Digital Collections
Mulltiple databases and substantial ebook, e-audio book collection through Cloud Library app. Digital accounts last 2 years. Renewable online.

University Library Special Collections
These universities offer free digital collections focused primarily on Texas history and government.
Highlights from Classlink
Destiny Follett, our library catalog, offers over 1100 e-book and e-audio books for secondary students.
Real world texts linked to content standards for ELA, Science, Social Students and Social /Emotional Learning.
JSTOR, digital resources from over 2000 journals, primary sources and full text books.
Gale Databases are searchable by simple or advanced search as well as the visually through Topic Finder.
Offers more resources, most useful is the controversal topics which offer pro and cons on debatable themes.
Over 1000 ebooks in fiction and nonfiction, browable or searchable through the EBSCO search.
