Note from Julie
Well, next week we have Halloween and then Thanksgiving is right around the corner. It feels like the weeks fly by even when days are long. I wanted to provide a little information about an opportunity for us to connect on November 6th. This will be an open forum for questions and idea sharing. There isn't a clear structure, but I want to hear from you!
9:00 - 9:40 AM -- In person time to connect. Check in at the office
2:45-3:15 PM -- Virtual time to connect. Use this link to connect
To join the video meeting, click this link: https://meet.google.com/hpx-gqxt-yod
Hope to see you on the 6th!

PTA Wish List
Greetings Fletcher Miller Community,
As you may know, each December, our Special Needs PTA has hosted a fundraiser called "Breakfast with Santa". This event is PTA's main fundraiser each year. It provides families a place to connect with one another, eat breakfast, participate in holiday activities AND meet Santa. We need your help with supplies and materials for this event. The PTA has created an Amazon Wish-list that includes needed decorations and materials. If you are able to, please check out the wish-list by clicking on the Santa Hat.
If you have questions, feel free to reach out.
Thanks
Julie
Thanksgiving Baskets
Fletcher Miller Community! We would love to share an opportunity with you! A big component of our programming here is teaching about giving back to our community. Thanks to an upcoming Bake Sale and or community partnership with Resilience Church, we have Thanksgiving baskets donated to our Miller community. For your reference, baskets include: cans of corn, green beans and yams, dinner rolls, Jello, potatoes, butter, gravy and stuffing. Baskets will be sent home or available for pick on November 15th.
Please give our office a call at 303-982-7200 if your family is interested in this gift. When you call, please be prepared to share the following with us:
- Name of child and family.
- Are there any food allergies or food restrictions in your family? If so, please list them.
- Would you like a turkey?
- Does November 15th work for you to pick up basket or can we send home with your student on the bus?
Thank you to our partners at Resilience Church and our Miller Community for making this possible.
Serving Kids
Serving Kids is a wonderful clothing resource for students in need in Jeffco. Anyone that is attending a Jeffco school is eligible for 1 set of clothing per semester. With the weather starting to change, and you need help with clothing for your students, please reach out to your child's teacher or Miller's social worker, Jenna (jenna.ebener@jeffco.k12.co.us) for a form.
Switch adapted Toy for Holiday season

Just like every year, we will be able to send out as many toys as we get donations for. So be sure to share with your friends and family!
