Mac El Weekly News
Week of September 15, 2023
From the Principal
Love your Life Week
This week was Love Your Life Week, which aimed to help students recognize and celebrate the positive aspects of their lives. Our guidance department distributed stickers, popsicles, bracelets, and other items to promote self-esteem while teachers integrated self-esteem into their reading and writing activities. Our hope is that everyone will continue to find the positives in their lives and love their life way beyond this week.
I want to thank the Mac El PTO for their valuable contribution and commitment to making our Book Fair a success. I would also like to thank all the families who attended the Family Night. The funds raised through the book fair will be used to fill our book vending machine and to provide books for literacy nights and classroom donations. Thanks again for your support; seeing children enthusiastic about purchasing books is always fun!
