Integrated Monitor Review
The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Office of Public School Monitoring (PSM) will conduct an Integrated Monitoring Review of Old Rochester Regional School District & Massachusetts Superintendency Union #55 during the week of May 12, 2025. Each school district, charter school, vocational school, and virtual school undergoes an Integrated Monitoring Review every three years. This review addresses special education teacher and related service personnel licensure and professional development; parent, student, and community engagement, including compliance with Child Find requirements; facilities and classroom observations; implementation and oversight of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs); time and learning, and equal access. Please read this letter for more information.

Guidance Department Announcements
You can find AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS in the Guidance Office and also on the Guidance website. Visit the guidance page on the school website and click on Scholarship Information on the right side of the page. Scholarships are updated often, so check back regularly.
Attention Seniors: Don’t forget to bring a copy of your college acceptance letters to your guidance counselor. It does not need to be the original - it can be a copy, screenshot, email, etc.
Local scholarship award letters are due to the guidance office by Monday, May 19. Please submit a copy or email your award notification(s) to your guidance counselor by the deadline if you would like to be recognized on the scholarship recipients list. (This list is for local scholarship awards only, not college/university scholarship awards.)
Attention Advanced Placement Students: AP Exam balances are PAST DUE. Please include the $40 late fee with your payment. Payments can be made in the guidance office by either cash or check (made payable to ORRHS). Mattapoisett Seahorse Explores Camp is hiring for the following positions
The Seahorse Explorers Program is an educational inspired day camp run out of Center School Monday-Fridays serving campers between the ages 4 & 12. Must be available June 19th- August 8th
Assistant Camp Director:
Requirements: At least 21 years of age. Experience working with children in a structured environment (school or camp setting) Available minimum 36 hours per week Mon.-Fri. First Aid and CPR certification training will be provided.
Counselor:
Requirements: At least 16 years of age. Experience dealing with young children. Available minimum 25 hours per week. First Aid and CPR certification training will be provided.
Mattapoisett Town Beach is hiring for Lifeguard positions
Requirements: At least 16 years of age. Current Lifeguard Certifications. Availability June 19th- August 16th. Certification ready physical fitness level
