We hope you had a great time celebrating homecoming last week. Keep reading to see photos from this year's festivities! In this newsletter you'll find stories highlighting the exceptional work happening in our classrooms and throughout the HHS community. There are plenty of academic, athletic and fine arts events occurring this fall so be sure to check your student's campus calendar as well as the Hebron High School calendar for events happening in your area.

Happy Homecoming!
We had a blast celebrating Homecoming with our Hebron community. This year's theme was "Viva Hawk Vegas," and staff and students dressed up accordingly. The HHS feeder pattern participated in various events throughout the week including a parade, pep rally and of course Friday's Homecoming game.
Elementary, middle and high school students from around the Hebron community participated in Wednesday's parade.
Congratulations to Wesley Winkler and Chan-hee Kim, our 2023 Homecoming King and Queen!
At Friday night's game, our Hebron Hawks defeated Plano East with a final score of 38-28. Go Hawks!

Coach Brian Brazil's Legacy Cemented at Hebron High School
On Friday night, Hebron High School cemented the legacy of Coach Brian Brazil. Before the Hawks’ homecoming football game, Brazil’s family and friends were in attendance to celebrate his life and the naming of the Hebron Football Stadium to Brian Brazil Stadium, also known as The Woodshed. One of the most prolific football coaches of his day, David Brian Brazil was so much more to Hebron High School and the Lewisville ISD community that he and his family called home for 30 years. Hebron 9 Receives Grant From Carter Blood Care
The Carter Blood Care Great Grants program rewards qualifying schools each year that participate in supporting community blood supply by hosting blood drives. Thank you to Nurse Koehler for leadership with this community partnership with Hebron 9!
Arbor Creek Archery Team Receives New Supplies Thanks to NTX Honda Dealers
This summer, ACMS Archery Coach Mr. Long was enjoying his time off when a Facebook post caught his eye. The post was from North Texas Honda Dealers Helping Hands page, wanting to provide support for local community members...After receiving the grant, Long was able to order new supplies such as bows, arrows, fletching, targets and more. Though he was surprised by the generosity, ACMS staff and students were not surprised that Coach Long went above-and-beyond for his students. READ MORE
Creek Valley Students Complete Lunar Landing STEM Challenge
Students flexed their STEM skills by designing spacecrafts to get their astronauts home from space safely!
6th Graders Enjoy Book Tasting at Killian
After learning about library expectations and circulation procedures, Killian 6th graders enjoyed a book tasting! The students sampled different fiction genres during their tasting.
Career Week at Castle Hills

Coyote Ridge Wins Homecoming Float Contest

Donuts With Grownups at Hebron Valley
Our Hebron Valley community visited campus for the Donuts with Grownups event, where students got to spend time with their favorite grownups before school. SEE PHOTOS
Hicks Celebrates Idiom Day
STEM Wonder Wagon Visits Homestead
The Homestead Mustangs got a visit from LISD's Wonder Wagon! The Wonder Wagon is an innovative learning experience designed to support STEM learning for elementary schools across LISD that do not currently have STEM learning on campus. READ MORE
Multicultural Night at Independence
Independence ES students and families hosted Multicultural Night to learn more about each other's backgrounds. Participants learned about different cultures, tried some tasty dishes, watched dance performances, visited the henna station and made crafts. Hearts, minds and bellies were full! SEE PHOTOS
Indian Creek Student Named Athlete of the Week
Congratulations to Indian Creek student Gentry Crouch, Arbor Creek student Connor Obenhaus and Hebron High School student Bo Onu for being named the SCHEELS Athletes of the Week!

Polser Teacher Receives Grant From Lewisville Education Foundation
Polser Gifted & Talented Teacher Tonya Shaw was one of many LISD educators from around the district who received a grant from the Lewisville Education Foundation earlier this fall. 65 teacher grants for a total of $103,570 were delivered to LISD staff thanks to LEF's network of local civic organizations, corporate partners, and community members.
