Good Morning E.L.M. Families,

Happy Friday! We have a half day of school today. Ski has officially ended, so all students will be dismissed at 11:30am today and next Friday.

I'd like to give a great, big SHOUT OUT to Coach Facchetti, Arleigh Cooper, Sam Zwirba, Deb LaCasse, Jon Zepka, and Amber & Wade Will for volunteering their time to organize and/or chaperone the Ski Club, so our students could participate this year. THANK YOU for being Kind & Awesome!

News, Updates & Reminders:

* Important - Aftercare Families: This past week the School Committee made a few changes to the Aftercare policies. An email and a copy of the updated handbook has been sent home with all Aftercare families this week. We kindly ask that you review the changes, sign & return the handbook, as soon as possible. Also, please note that there are important changes regarding payment due dates that could affect a families ability to use the program, so please be sure to read the handbook carefully. These policies will be implemented immediately. We welcome any questions, so please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

* We will celebrate Valentine's Day on Wednesday afternoon. The PTG will be providing refreshments for everyone. Students are welcome to bring in Valentine's to share with their classmates.

* The Toiletry & Household Item Drive to benefit Soldier On will end on Tuesday, Feb. 13th. Thank you to all families that donated to this important cause.

* The Emma Miller School District state report card is now available on the DESE website. A link to the report card is below.

* The MCAS Schedule for students in grades 3rd-6th is as follows:

ELA - Tues. April 9th & Wed. April 10th

Math - Tues. May 7th & 8th

STE (Gr. 5) - Tues. May 14th & 15th

PTG Updates & Reminders:

* The Ready, Set, Play fundraiser will take place next Thursday from 3:00-6:30pm.

Health & Safety:

* We received an abundance of free Covid test kits, so we are sending two boxes home with each student. Please check backpacks. Thank you.
