As the school year comes to a close, we reflect on the incredible journey we've had together. Our students have achieved, grown, and created lasting memories. We appreciate the unwavering support from our parents and caregivers.

Thursday 14 December - Year 6 Leavers Assembly 9am and Dinner

Friday 15 December - Final day of the year 12.15 finish for everyone

Classes for 2024

This year we have planned further meetings before we start school where whānau, tamariki and teachers will meet for 20 minutes to discuss aspirations for the year, what is important to each of you and anything else of importance. These meetings can be booked in the usual way online. Bookings are now open.

Dates for these meetings are Thursday 1 February and Friday 2 February. We are calling these Whanaungatanga Hui ( Family meetings). We would like to see all tamariki and their whanau attend these hui.

Please book your time by going on to - schoolinterviews.co.nz and put in the booking code - W3UXZ. You will need to book with your child's teacher for 2024.

Papamoa Community Swimming Pool at Papamoa Primary, Sundays between 10.00am - 3pm

Cost $75 per player (includes some practice pool sessions)

Grades are all mixed gender

Year 3&4 (6v6 - pool width) Advisable to be a confident swimmer

Year 5&6 A & B (6v6 - pool length) Must be able to confidently swim 100m (4 lengths) unassisted.

Summer Basketball

Trustpower Arena, Mondays between 4pm - 6.00pm

Cost $55 per player

Grades are all mixed gender

Please can all sports uniforms and gear bags be returned to the office this week.

Library books and Readers

The learning centre will be closed from Friday 24th November.

We are missing a lot of library books and readers. It would be appreciated if you could check at home for any extra books or readers and send them back as well. We don't mind if you have had them for ages - we would just like them back!

Facebook

If you have not joined our Facebook group, please search for it and request to join. This is a closed group so you will be asked who the children you are connected to are. We share lots of real-time information here with photos and updates included.

We have been advised by Pita Pit Head Office that all stores are running low of lamb and this product from term 4 will be discontinued until further notice. The roast kumara has also been removed from the menu.
