How are you enjoying this heat wave? What was the highlight of your weekend?

We are excited about our second week of school! We will continue learning routines and procedures, as well as building community in our classrooms.

Teachers will begin to launch the academic programs this week, so your child's attendance is critically important.

Please share this newsletter with three families so that everyone is in the know!

We will continue to experience this heat wave well into this week, and we want to ensure that students stay hydrated in class and at recess or PE.

Please send your child to school with a plastic or metal reusable water bottle every day.

Students have access to bottled water from various dispensers throughout the building.

As a reminder, students have been asked to wear sneakers or any other type of shoe that fully supports the ankles and protects the toes. Our recess games include relay races, 4-square, wall ball, knockout, soccer, and other games that require quick footwork and agility.

No open-toed sandals, CROCS, or flip flops, or any other foam shoes, please. If your child chooses to wear any of these type of shoes, they will be asked to play table games during recess instead of the games mentioned above.

We look forward to meeting you at our Back to School Night, which will be on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 pm!

Your child will bring a media release form home tomorrow.
