Hear Us Roar!

The past week was a BUSY one on campus, brimming with enjoyable learning and celebrations! We kicked off Monday with Healthy Heart Week, transitioned to the festive 100th Day of School celebration on Wednesday, showcased a captivating Lion Dance in anticipation of the upcoming Lunar New Year on Friday, and concluded with a splendid Mills Around the World cultural showcase event on Saturday attended by three Austin ISD Board of Trustee members along with our families and students!

This week, we kick off Black History Month and celebrate our wonderful counselors for Counselor Appreciation Week, highlight our 2nd graders in an Art Showcase after school Wednesday, and wrap up the week with Spring Conference Day. If you would like a conference with your child, please make sure you reach out to your child's teacher.

Black History Month

School Fundraiser Coming!

What is it?

Mills is partnering with Boosterthon for a 10 day fundraiser to raise funds for our campus.

These funds are critical to help pay for our Maker Space & Spanish/Cultural studies teachers and lunchroom monitors, along with additional school enrichment and interventions for students and professional development for teachers. These positions and extras we enjoy at Mills are not funded by the school district.

When is it happening?
