CONTACT INFO FOR EQUITY AUDITORS
LPS has hired an experienced, independent, third-party consulting firm that specializes in equity work, to conduct a full equity audit of the district. The audit began on May 16, 2023 and will run four to six months. The auditors have engaged in focus group discussions with members of the LPS community including staff, students, and parents.
MOVING FORWARD:
The Equity Auditors will be opening up opportunities for affinity and/or identity based community groups to gather and speak with them. Detailed information will be advertised in the coming weeks.
If an individual would like to request an interview with the auditors, they can be reached via email at soswald@a2zequitycoaching.com. The Equity Auditors will do their best to ensure all voices are heard.
Thank you in advance for participating in this process and helping our district to continue to ensure that schools are places where equity, inclusion, anti-racism, and anti-bias are priorities. Additional information regarding our Equity Audit can be found on the LPS Equity Initiative webpage.

EMPLOYMENT
TOWNSHIP SURVEY
The Township of Livingston has launched a new initiative called “Livingston for All” to promote inclusive practices that support the health and well-being of individuals with disabilities in the Livingston community. Livingston for All was formed to lead an initiative to promote local-level community change through policy, systems, and environmental changes.
Jennifer Walker, Director of Livingston's Senior, Youth & Leisure services, explained, "This survey is being conducted to assess community policy, systems, and environmental changes needed to make the Township of Livingston more inclusive of people with disabilities. There will be follow-up conversations with individuals after the survey is over to get more detailed information about some of the responses and have deeper conversations. If you’re someone who has a disability, or the guardian of someone with a disability, and are interested in participating in those conversations, there’s a place on the survey to indicate that.
"Your input is crucial in our efforts to make the policies and environments in the community more inclusive of people of all abilities and we thank you for your willingness to take this short survey."
