Principal's Corner
Welcome to December! As the holiday season begins, I want to extend warm wishes to each and every one of you. We want to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our Dos Rios Robotics Team, the Robos Lobos! Their dedication and passion have earned them the 2nd place Judges Award—a testament to their hard work and collaborative spirit. Bravo, Robos Lobos!
As we approach the end of the semester, our students will take middle-of-the-year assessments. It's a time for reflection, tracking progress, and celebrating the growth our students have achieved thus far. We can't wait to share their growth with you!
This month is surely one of the most exciting months of the year for most of our kids. It is the holiday season and this is a fitting time for all of us to teach our students to be thankful and show them the value of generosity and kindness. December the month we have the most days out of school. Let us use this time to bond more with our kids and to continue helping our children in their learning. There are a lot of fun ways that we can teach our kids the academic skills that they need. We can read and share wonderful stories with each other. We can use numbers and measurements when we prepare ingredients to cook our favorite dish. You can encourage your children to practice writing thank you notes to their family members and friends. We need to continue to nurture and grow during our holiday breaks.
On behalf of the entire Dos Rios family, I extend heartfelt wishes for a safe, joyous, and blessed holiday season. May this time be filled with laughter, love, and the spirit of giving.
Happy Holidays to one and all!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Cain
