New Lunch Menu
On Monday, December 12 TUSD Food Services will be rolling out a new lunch menu at all high schools offering more choices and a new service format with themed stations. Check out the new options in the December menu below!
College & Career Workshops
The College & Career Center will hold workshops every Wednesday from 2:00-3:00 p.m. in the Special Projects Room beginning in December. In these workshops students can apply for colleges and universities, fill out their FAFSA, apply for scholarships or receive general information about college and career readiness. Parents are welcome to attend. For more information, please contact Dr. Manuel Avila.
Strengthening Families Program
Do you ask your kids to do something multiple times before they do it? Do you find yourself yelling more than listening? Do you have trouble setting effective rules & consequences? Gain valuable skills to strengthen your family in only 11 weeks.
Parents & children will learn:
- How to build positive family communication
- Skills to encourage good behavior & set goals
- Ways to reduce problematic behaviors & family conflict
- Skills to manage stress & deal with peer pressure
Program runs from January 17, 2023 to March 28, 2023 for families with children 7-17. Virtual meetings held on Zoom every Tuesday from 5:30-7:00 p.m. and every Thursday from 5:30-6:30 p.m.*
Registration deadline is January 12, 2023. Sign up today!
*Receive a $25 gift card from the Pima County Health Dept. for every week you participate. Must have at least one web-enabled device with camera and be able to use Zoom platform.

Meet With Your Counselor
Every day during lunch a different member of the counseling department will have a table outside of the administration building and will be available to answer questions for students and staff.
Mondays = Ms. Luna (Sophomores; Seniors M-Z)
Tuesdays = Ms. Campbell (Juniors)
Wednesday = Mr. Matanza & Ms. Manthai (Family Liaison & Social Worker)
Thursdays = Dr. Toro (Freshmen; Seniors A-L)
Fridays = Dr. Avila & Mr. Carrillo (CCRC & Social Worker)
Fall Encuentro
Our Fall Encuentro was well attended by Pueblo families & community. Great performances by our performing arts programs. Kudos to all the organizers of this wonderful event. See you in the spring.
Pueblo Drama Follies
Pueblo Drama put on two great shows to kick-off their performance schedule. Students presented classic scenes from movies & television. Check out a clip from the classic comedy Three Amigos.
Pueblo Dance Showcase
Pueblo Dance presented their first show in years for two nights. Families & students cheered during the hip-hop & holiday performances put on by beginning dance. Pomline also made a featured appearance. Watch the entire show below.

Pueblo Girls Basketball Off To Great Start
After losing first game of Scorpion Shoot Out, our Warriors have won 6 straight games. They put on a defensive show in the second half of their first home game against Mica Mountain resulting in a 70-53 victory.
Pueblo Wrestling
Pueblo Wrestling had a busy start to the season with four matches in two weeks. Warriors are a young team and are making strides. Make sure to check them out at all the invitationals they will be competing at.
Pueblo Boys Basketball
Pueblo Boys Basketball won their home opener against visiting Douglas 58-47. Warriors came in with a 2-1 record and hope to build on last year's playoff run. Noteworthy is Class of 2024 standout Isaiah Hill on track to reach 1,000 career points.
Pueblo Girls Soccer
Pueblo Girls Soccer started season at Panther Tournament. Warriors won their first game against Amphi 4-1, but struggled to score during their next 3 matches. They finished 1-3.
Pueblo Boys Soccer
Pueblo Boys Soccer also started season competing at the Panther Tournament. Warriors won their first two games with victories over Amphi (2-1) & Rio Rico (4-2). They ended in a scoreless tie with Empire & lost their next game.
