Here is a great resource to use for students during the holidays provided by TCEA, The Merry Merry Breakout. If you have never done a breakout room or puzzle, students must solve digital puzzles and provide answers to unlock questions on a digital google form. Each answer from one puzzle will lead to another puzzle for them to unlock until they solve the last one. I think I use Gif's more than I use text sometimes. Gif's are a great way to communicate quickly and easily and what better way to show students how to d o something then by creating your own Gif. This is where GifCap comes into play. Just like Zoom or Google Meet, GifCap can capture your entire screen, a window, or a chrome tab and create a Gif from your actions. Easier and quicker than an entire recording or video and the ability to place in documents, emails etc. To start see how you can use GifCap click here.

This website is a great resource for researching and understanding the different cultures and customs around the world as they pertain to this holiday season. A great way to have students investigate and report or just learn about the cultures and societies around Christmas.
