Are you competitive? Do you like friendly competition and a chance to win fun prizes? If so, this event is for you! Come on out and support the Methacton Education Foundation's DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT on Sunday March 17th!!
Doors open at 12PM, Tournament starts at 1PM.
Sign up and register a team for the tournament or check out how you can become a volunteer or sponsor for the event.
Proceeds from this event will fund Methacton Education Foundation grants supporting STEM, programs that benefit economically disadvantaged students, career readiness, and student wellness in the Methacton School District.

Boys Basketball
The Warriors had a competitive week of basketball. The Warriors played Spring-Ford and won with a score of 71-49. Sal Iemmello played very hard and competed in the game with 15 points and 8 rebounds.
The next game the Boys Basketball team played was senior night against Boyertown. After quite the battle, the Warriors won 80-44. Anthony Daddazio was a key contributor for the team with 15 points.
Lastly, the Warriors beat Emmaus on Saturday 77-68. Christian Matos led all scorers with 20 points.
We look forward to another competitive week and challenges ahead.

Girls Basketball
The Lady Warriors had 3 games this week to finish out their season. On Monday night the Lady Warriors traveled to Pottstown where they won 54-24. Juniors Abby Arnold and Jenna Kaufman had 8 points, Sophomore Olivia Organtini 8 points and Senior Courtney Freese with 6 points.
The JV Lady Warriors won 47-10. Sophomores Sydney Hockenbrock had 8 points and Lindsay McCann 6 points. Freshman Arianna Kling had 6 points.
On Tuesday night the Lady Warriors hosted Spring Ford and lost 71-28. Junior Abby Arnold had 17 points. The JV team also fell to SF 45-14.
On Thursday night the Lady Warriors wrapped up their season at Boyertown. The team came away with an all out, very impressive 79-43 win. Junior Abby Arnold finished with 27 points, Sophomore Avery Kenney had 11 points and Freshman Lila Cingiser also had 11 points. The teams four seniors were all able to get into the scoring column in their last game as a Lady Warrior. The JV won 46-15 with Sophomore Emily Taylor scoring 11 points and Freshman Ariana Kling with 10 points.
The Varsity Lady Warriors finish the season 6-16 overall and 6-7 in the league.
The JV team finishes the season with a 17-5 overall record.
Cheerleading
The Varsity Cheerleaders wrapped up their competitive season this weekend as PAC CHAMPIONS! At home, in front of a packed crowd, the team hit a flawless routine with zero deductions to bring home the title. Family, friends, alumni and fellow students showed up to cheer the team on, driving their energy and excitement through the roof! It was a truly amazing end to the competition season for the team!
Earlier in the week, we were there to cheer on the Girls' Basketball team in their final home game of the season. We are proud of the Girls' team and thankful for our time spent cheering them on this year. Congratulations to Coach Kaminski on his record number of wins, celebrated this season!
On Thursday, we celebrated the class of 2024 alongside the Boys' Basketball team. Our six talented, smart, spirited senior girls were highlighted throughout the evening as they all took to "flying." Now on to playoffs! Let's go warriors!!
Girls Winter Track
The Girls Track and Field ended their regular season with 2 meets over the weekend.
On Friday night they traveled to Lehigh University and added to the Meet of Champions qualifiers. Junior Sydney Young cleared a PR 9' 0" in the Pole Vault to qualify for the post-season Championship Meet. Senior Summer Mellow continued her outstanding season with a first place finish in the Long Jump with a leap of 17' 9.25". The Distance Medley team of Kate Thomas, Kenslee O'Donnell, Juliana Trigone and Molly Thomas reached a provisional standard for the Distance Medley Relay with a time of 13:22.44.
On Sunday, the Lady Warriors traveled to Staten Island, NY for the Ocean Breeze Invitational. A meet featuring more than 300 schools from 5 different states, the girls proved they can compete at any level. In the freshman 55m hurdles, Bhavi Patel finished 3rd overall to take home the first medal of the meet. She was soon followed by Averi Greeley, who finished 5th in the sophomore 55m hurdles. The freshman 4x200 relay of Sarah Waters, Bhavi Patel, Ananya Nandakumar and Gabi Dwyer finished 4th overall with a time of 1:57.32. Gabi Dwyer also finished 9th in the freshman 200m with a time of 27.64 seconds. Summer Mellow reached the state qualifying standard in the open 200m with a time of 25.50 seconds. Fellow senior, Kate Thomas, also hit the state standard in the 800m run with a time of 2:21.12.
Competing in her first indoor Pentathlon, sophomore Eva Rojas went against a field of predominantly juniors and seniors. She finished 10th overall with a score of 2170 points over the 5 events - 55m hurdles, high jump, shot put, long jump and 800m run.
The girls begin their preparation for the post season this week. Their next competition will be on Friday, February 16 in the Meet of Champions at Lehigh University. The State Championships will be held at Penn State University on Sunday, February 25.

Boys Winter Track
The boy’s track team will travel to NYC’s armory Monday night, after a great 3 weeks of practice. They hope to return with great results!

Boys Swimming
The boys finished up their dual meet season 2nd in the PAC league after beating OJR 102-68. It was a great meet last Tuesday with lots of notable swims. Personal best swims: Marcus Rasmussen (200 free, 100 free relay split), Jake Roberts (200 IM, 100 free relay split), Lucah Petriello (100 breaststroke, 100 free relay split), Dante Pineiro (200 IM), John Du (50 free, 100 fly), David Rees (50 free, 50 free relay split), EJ Guy (100 free relay split) and Brock Yoder (500 free, 100 free relay split). Jake Kallal had a seasonal best swim in 500 free and personal best 100 free relay split.
The boys are gearing up for their post season competition. This Friday the boys will compete in PAC Championships, for some, this will be their final meet of the season. We are looking forward to more fast races!

Girls Swimming
We are wrapping up the official high school swim season with PAC championships being held this Saturday 2/10. The week before last we recognized our four senior girls at our dual meet against Souderton - Madison Wimmer, Kaitlyn Phan, Julia Landsberg, and Aashiana Zore. Congratulations to our seniors and good luck in their future endeavors!
Last Tuesday we had our last regular PAC 10 dual meet against Owen J Roberts. The girls team lost to a tough OJR girls team. Senior Madison Wimmer took individual first places in the 200 IM and 500 free. Sophmore Marisa Dipaolo made her PAC cut time for the 200 free. Both Marisa and Freshman Emerson Brown had personal best times in the 500 free.
We are looking forward to post season and PIAA districts. We have three girls on the team with District consideration times - Senior Madison Wimmer, Junior Izzy Ketterer, and Junior Truly Sommer.

Methacton Junior Varsity Wrestlers Dominate Haverford Tournament
The Warrior JV matmen turned in a dominating performance at the Haverford JV tournament, where eight Warriors took first place honors. Methaction place winners were as follows:

Varsity Finishes in 6th Place at Cedar Crest Tournament
The varsity wrestlers finished in 6th place in the 21 team field at the Falcon Invitational held at Cedar Crest High School.

Unified Bocce
The unified bocce team defeated Perk Valley last Tuesday 3–1. The only game that they lost came down to a tiebreaker. The team will have their final game against North Penn on Wednesday. They will find out next week if either team will move onto playoffs.
