As a reminder, if you plan to change your child's 3rd MP selection (virtual or hybrid) please contact your child's assistant principal or counselor no later than April 9. This will allow us time to make arrangements if needed. The 4th marking period begins on April 12.

Immediately following spring break, Ms. Barger (our 8th-grade counselor) will begin meeting with each 8th-grade student to begin the high school registration process. The following survey will provide her with information so she can better understand students' interests and needs.
We are asking each 8th-grade student to complete the following survey. Students can open the link through their SMCPS email account. Social studies teachers have emailed their students the link. Students should complete the survey only once.

The event will be held virtually this year on Thursday, April 8, 2021, beginning at 5 PM. The Virtual Freshman Orientation is online, with live and recorded events that follow a schedule. It includes videos as well as presentations and Q&A sessions, which provide an overview of planning your high school courses.

For those students interested in the AFJROTC at CHS, please read the following letter from

Lt Colonel P.L. Harvey USAF (Ret), Senior Aerospace Science Instructor. Monday, April 12, and Tuesday, April 27, CHS AFJROTC will visit MBMS during 8th-grade lunches to share information and answer students' questions.

Exciting news about the yearbook! This year, using cutting-edge new technology, all of you are invited to share your 10 favorite photos of the school year. When the yearbook comes out, you’ll be able to scan the portraits in the printed book using your phone and digitally unlock each student’s 10 favorite pics they submitted. We will not be having a company come out for traditional portraits this year so it is important that you are uploading a portrait of your child to be placed in the yearbook.
